Why???? Why????

As I was walking alone, heading back home.. I felt myself being watched but ignored and kept on walking... But the footsteps grew louder and clearer .. I wasn't scared..  I was angry. I turn around and just as expected...

" What are you doing here?!?!? Go away!!!!! Stop following me could you please!!! That's not a question, its an order!! Just go!" I realised I was overreacting when he came closer and I stopped moving.. " I'm really sorry to have scared you but I actually live here"

I felt my face turning red of shame.. I didn't even say a thing, not even a sorry as I turn to look at the old broken house beside me.

I felt.. sad.. but still nothing. In my mind, I thought he has a family to help me fix this broken house and so I said " ohh , okay " and left him there.

I realised we were neighbours, not side by side but it was a 5 minute walk from his house to mine.

when I turn the knob to go in, I looked at him from a distance and spot him looking back at me. I went in thinking he's crazy but then I look out of the window and see him went in after I went.

" Was he waiting for me to go in?" I said to myself..
