Apollo's P. O. V

Apollo bit his tongue for the third time when the bouncy ball hit the wall and back into Tyler's hand.

Outside, the sky couldn't decided what color it wanted to be, as it was a mix of pink, yellow, and purple hues.

If it wasn't for the situation he and his sister was in, Apollo would have been hooking up his sun horses to the chariot and dragging the sun behind him towards the sea.

He and all six of his horses would be catching rays and doing what they do best: being the center of attention.

As of now, his poor horses must be so confused as to where he was.

Being the Lord of the Sun, it came with many advantages for Apollo.

He was always second to know what happened below, Zeus was first. He could see festivals happening, bank robberies in action, games, birthday parties.

He had an massive advantage over everyone and everything.

"Well this is fun" Tyler mumbled throwing the ball again, this time knocking a picture off the wall.

Both boys stared at the fallen picture, none with the intention of picking it up.

Tyler sighed and checked his watch.

From where Apollo sat it looked like a Rolex with black diamonds outlining the circle. "Opps!" Tyler said junling out of the bed. "Gotta get dressed".

Apollo moved out of his way, watching a burst of energy pour from Tyler. "Get dressed for what?" Apollo asked sitting up.

Tyler drew his curls away from his face and used a ponytail holder to make a man bun. "A party of course!"

Put it this way, humans needed air to breathe and Apollo needed parties to breathe.

He was the life of the party. Literally.

Apollo smiled from ear to ear. "I like parties". Tyler winked at himself in the mirror then turned back to his roommate.

"And I like my popularity".

Popularity was a given to Apollo, it was a natural.

He never had to win anyone over, and if he did, he'd give them a wink and one strum of his guitar.

Apollo frowned. "Don't you know who I am?". Tyler went into the bathroom, the door halfway closed. "Apollo...?"

"And do you know who invented partying?" Apollo continued walking towards the window in the room.

"No and I don't care" Tyler snapped flipping the light off in the bathroom then walking out.

"Me and Dionysus" Apollo smiled. The memories of them and his servants dancing and eating figs and cheese.

Apollo, the ladies man, and Dionysus, the party animal.

"So sweet!" Tyler smiled. "But down here I'm the party king".

Opening the door to his room, Tyler stepped into the hall and pulled his jacket on.

Before closing the door he turned to Apollo and smirked. "Down here your just a mortal".

A mortal. The words had quite the sting as they settled over Apollo. He wasn't a mortal, he never would be one. But as he lay against the headboard he realized what his life had become.

...

A knock on the door of Tyler's room opened the eyes of a sleeping sun God.

"Go away!" Apollo barked when he heard the sound of his sisters voice.

He didn't have the energy to deal with his annoying sister at the moment.

"Please!" Artemis shrieked hitting the door with her fist. "I said please"

Apollo yawned and rolled off the bed groggy. He opened the door to his impatient sister.

"Where is Tyler?" She asked falling onto the nearest bed tired. She puffed out her cheeks and closed her eyes.

Apollo frowned. "At a party".

Artemis pulled herself into a sitting position, her hands on her cheek. "For who?"

Apollo shrugged. "Does it matter; we're not going so".

Artemis sighed and got off the bed. "We could always go explore?" She suggested walking towards the door.

Apollo huffed and rolled on his side. "I don't have time to explore. Can we just sit and wait out our punishment like normal people!"

"Apollo we've never been normal and we never will. Just except it my dude".
