Tom. He's a human being just like the rest of us. He has vivid blue eye's like the sky above him.  He has dark brown hair as brown as chocolate. His skin is white as snow. He was walking one  summer day, when he heard a voice call his name.

"Hey Tom!" called the voice. It was Toms history teacher. "You didn't hand up your history assignment yesterday," he called.
"Oh, hey Mr. Satori. About that, I forgot to hand it up because my poor goldfish Ollie died, and I was just sad, so, I  just wasn't really paying attention. Sorry." Mr. Satori looked at Tom for a bit, but then said, " Well, I doubt your goldfish died, but anyways could you do your assignment and hand it up on Tuesday? " asked Mr. Satori.

"Sure thing," Tom replied. Mr. Satori started back in his direction. What was he going to do? He had a vacation for the next three weeks, and he definitely wasn't going to waste his vacation by doing homework. So, he thought, if I do my homework in the remaining time I have, which is like one day until the vacation, I might just get it finished. So he ran home and started his homework. One hour passed and Tom had only done three sentences.

Tom's Dream*

He was in a dark space, and he was standing on a squishy, wet floor. There was a weird moaning sound, echoing off the rock hard walls. A girl slithered like a snake across the floor. She had the most beautiful face. Red lips, with golden hair that sparkled in the water. The girl got closer. Suddenly, more beautiful girls were slithering, swimming, across the floor towards Tom. He knelt on his knees, in the water. What should he do? They were all so beautiful. It was almost like they were hypnotising him by there beauty.  They were getting closer. Closer. They were so close he could kiss them. Closer. Closer. Then, one of the girls showed her fangs and screeched. She was going to kill him if he didn't get out of there. But he didn't even know how he got in there in the first place. All of them were showing vicious fangs now. They were all slithering fast and Tom was only running as fast as an old dog, and he was in water so it was a bit hard. He tripped. He fell. Tom landed face first into the water. And something was dragging him down. Something with a long, powerful tail. The last thing Tom saw was- a mermaid.

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Tom woke with a start. "It was only a dream," he muttered to himself. He had fallen asleep while doing his history. He had just had a dream about, well, sirens. But he hadn't had anything to do with Sirens since second grade. He was 25 now. But he thought about it for awhile, and decided he didn't really hate that dream. Well, only the part where he was going to be eaten alive by killer Sirens. But apart from that, the Sirens looked absolutely beautiful. Their stunning blue and green eyes. Their sparkly, wavy hair in the water. Their lips. So red, and luscious. "Whoa, did I really just day dream about beautiful monsters that tried to kill me in a dream? Now I'm talking to myself. Great now I'm going crazy. Woo-hoo I'm nuts!" Just then Tom's dad walked in the room.
"Tom are you OK? I heard you yell from the other room."
"Dad, I'm fine. I just saw this really cool. . . bird." Great, Tom thought. Now my dad is going to put me in bird spotting school

"Well, OK. But if you need anything, I'm next door." With that he walked off, feeling confused.
