"Just a week..." He said, and reflexively she held his cold hands.
"You're cold.." She said.
"I know."
"Are you...dying?"
"Yes."
"Do I know you?"
"Very well.." He chuckled.
"Are we-together?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry.."
"Don't be."
"But you're hurt and you're weak and there's nothing I can do-"
"You have done a lot Erza."
Unconsciously, Erza's tears were falling on the white linen.
"You have given me much more than I have given to you." His sad, debilitated eyes were gazing into hers.
"What have I given you..? Only pain right? The pain of you reminding me everyday who you are, the pain of me not remembering you everyday, and the pain of telling me that you were dying everyday.. That's all I have given you..Gray." Her throat tightened upon saying the name for the first time today and she wondered, did it feel the same way ever single time she had said his name?
"No, you have given me love. life and absolute happiness."

The moon had risen from it's deep shadows, pouring its light on darkness and shunning away the gloominess.
Erza was still beside Gray, wide awake while he had unintentionally fallen asleep.
She stared at him, at the way he looked, at the way his hair fell on his eyes, at the way his lips twitched sometimes, and at the way he would breath with difficulty.
She pondered, weather he was having a bad dream or a good one because she doesn't know how it feels to even have one.

And as the night had passed, Gray had woken up, only to see Erza with her eyes closed.
She had fallen asleep-but she woke up by the creaking sound of the bed and asked, "How are you feeling?"
Surprised, Gray's eyes shot open. "You remember me!" He asked, his voice eagerly awaiting the desperate answer.
"I didn't sleep.." She said. "I had just closed my eyes."
"Oh.." His brows loosened. "Thank you."
She shook her head, "Coffee..?"
And he nodded.
