Part 1: A Second Chance At, Drama?

Sheneka woke up to feel that her entire body was aching every inch of her being had a pain in it, so much that it was close to unbearable. Her eyelids felt as if they were ten pounds after what felt like hours of trying to open them she just accepted the fact that her body wasn’t ready for such a task.

God, I’ve never been happy to feel pain but thank you God for blessing me with another chance at life. She thought to herself as she muted her thoughts and listened to the sounds around her, she could hear a heart monitor machine and the slight murmurs of two men talking with one another. She wondered who it was as she struggled to open her eyes and move her aching limbs if even an inch. Come on you can do this Sheneka.. move opens your eyes, She thought to herself giving her body the pep talk it needed she opens her eyes to just close them again once they were introduced to the bright lights of the hospital room. The hospital sounds became louder and her pain became stronger as she blinked the blurry image of the ceiling out of her eyes, noticing an eager Aubrey sitting in a chair beside her bed she fought through her pain to smile slightly.

Aubrey’s heart beamed from within once he saw Sheneka’s eyes open he had been waiting alongside of her bed along with Khleo and Gabbie for hours, all the hours he stayed away finally paid off since he was now the only one awake to see Sheneka wake up from her deep sleep after her surgery. He wanted her to himself if only for a few minutes so he decided not to let the others know that she had awoken at least not just yet.

“How you feeling beautiful?” Aubrey asked softly reaching for her hand but deciding not to hold them once he noticed how bruised and sore they looked.

She tried to lean up quickly almost ripping the i.v out of her arm that was flushing the bleach that was torturing her organs out of her body to help it recover from the torture she endured. Aubrey stood up and released the bed from it’s downward position so she would be able to sit up without hurting herself. He couldn’t help but to feel as if he failed as not only her man but as a man in general by not protecting her or being to see that there was a deeper meaning behind her being with him.

Aubrey hated himself for feeling the way that he did, but after reading the letter Sheneka wrote him, finding out that she slept with Michael, and having Khleo ready to fight him every chance he got made him begin to regret ever falling in love with her. His broken ego and heart were working together to resent allowing her to tap into his heart and ultimately hurt him, he now questioned her true reasoning behind aborting their child. Being used by women for a chance to make it in the industry or just for personal gain was something he was used to and was usually able to spot from a mile away but she was different, Sheneka had him wide open and it bothered him to know that it was all apart of a bigger plan of hers.

“Alive.” She smiled with a raspy and dry voice happy that Aubrey was the first person she saw once she woke up, she loved him whole heartedly and knew that he did too. She wondered if Khleo had come to LA just to check on her well-being and be on her side despite the failing of their relationship, but she knew that asking for him would only upset Aubrey so she kept her questions to herself.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there to protect you, You know I love you right?” He asked, stroking her hand gently as he examined the bandages above her breast and her slightly bruised and battered face. He just wanted to let her know one more time that he loved her before he decided to leave her for good. There was no denying that he loved her with all of his heart more than he wanted to and that's what terrified and excited him most about their relationship he never loved another woman as much as he loved her.  Their relationship had quickly become one of the media’s favorites for all the wrong reasons he just wanted a break, he needed time to just be away from the chaos and really think about their relationship, and he couldn’t do that being with her because when he’s with her all he wanted to do was make her happy.
