**Not The First Chapter**

A man hunched over his desk and frantically scribbled down notes. Every once and a while he would glance up at a globe, curse and erase half the page. It was quite apparent that the man was wrapped up in creating a large-scale scheme of some sort or another.

"Um, sir?" Another man stood up from behind a computer. "We can't introduce you yet."

The man at the desk swung around, revealing a greasy face. "And why not, henchman?"

The henchman squeaked, sinking back into his chair, "With all due respect, we can't introduce you until after the hero gets her powers..." He trailed off as the other man rose and walked over to see what he was typing.

"You're supposed to be typing this story out however you want, so why shouldn't I be introduced first?"

"Because you're the villain! The villain can never be introduced prior to the reveal of the hero. It's just how this whole cliché thing works." Satisfied with his explanation the henchman turned back to his computer screen, quietly waiting for his boss' reaction.

The villain huffed and leaned onto the back of his henchman's chair. His eyes quickly scanned the word document on the screen. "Wait! Why is this titled 'Prologue'?!"

The henchman sighed and rolled his eyes. "I already explained this, sir, you can't be properly introduced until after the hero."
