Couples yoga
"Josh, we should like, totally go to a couples yoga class," I said jokingly. Josh shrugged.
"Why not?"
He shrugged to myself.
"Want me to sign us up for tonight?" I asked.
"Go for it."
--
Josh wore a black misfits tank top, gym shorts, and black sliders underneath. I wore some regular yoga pants and a grey tank top. This was my first time to tie my hair up and reveal my undercut. It felt good, and a lot cooler than a normal pony tail. Josh reached up to feel the buzz cut hair on the back of my head. It made me shiver.
"That just looks so damn cool," he said. I laughed.
When we arrived at the gym, we checked in to the class and lied out the provided yoga mats and took off our shoes. Other couples scattered themselves around the atmospheric room. I felt nice in there, it smelled like nature and had a nice, homey feel to it.
The whole class Josh and I received funny looks and glares. We weren't exactly being serious like everyone else. One pose started out just like our thing on the couch, only with me on his feet instead of his knees. He tilted me forward until I could support myself with my hands by his head and his feet supporting my hips.
"I swear to god, if you drop me," I said with a laugh. He smiled at me, then dropped his feet slightly to scare me.
"Josh!" I exclaimed with a laugh. I saw another lady above her guy glare at me.
At the end of the class we were both sweaty messes. Josh snapped a picture of us as we were walking of out the gym and put it on snapchat. I smiled with my eyes closed and held up a peace sign with Josh opening his eyes super wide. I screenshotted it.
"How do you like having tons of Twitter followers?" Josh asked as he turned up the heat.
"It's... I don't really know. I had to turn off my notifications but that's about it. I don't really read what people tweet me."
"That's probably a good thing." Josh turned out of the parking lot.
"I know, I'd rather not look at the death threats," I laughed.
I posted the photo with the caption: Couples yoga is not for the faint of heart. The tweets started rolling in after I tagged Josh.
"Why does Ashley hate me so much?" I asked sort of abruptly.
"Does it bother you?" He asked.
"Admittedly, yeah a little. I mean, obviously she means something to you."
"Not really. The only reason we're still friends is for the sake of media drama. I don't care for her too much."
"I thought I was the only one."
"Definitely not. Don't worry about her opinion, if she decides to put you on blast for something stupid, the clique will shut her down in seconds flat." We got out of the car and started walking to the elevator.
"The clique?"
"Skeleton clique, that's the name of our fan base." He pressed the button to our floor.
"That sounds... Really cool." I smiled. I liked how they had all these cool symbols and names for their band. Even though some of it made no sense, when you saw the logos you knew who it was. It's up to the listener to decide. Josh's phone buzzed. He groaned when he read the text.
