PROBLEMATIC: part 15

"It's not your fault. How did you date that bitch?" I asked.

"I'm saying!" Tyler backed me up. Josh just shook his head.

At the apartment, Josh flopped out on the couch and sighed.

"I don't wanna go to the gym," he said to me. I smiled.

"Wanna go to a yoga class later?" I asked.

"Kyndall, I have the flexibility of a brick," Josh joked. I laughed.

We did a thing where he held me up over him by resting my stomach on his raised knees and holding my hands. I hovered over him, my long red hair hitting him in the face as he held me up and laughed.

"It'll be just like this, but for like an hour," I said. He rolled his eyes. I wrapped my feet around his legs and he tilted me forward until we were close enough to kiss, and we did, short and sweet. My feet slipped, and I flopped on top of him, laughing.

"Awwwww you guys are so cute," Tyler said sitting at the other end of the couch. I laughed.

"Seriously, let's do it."

"Fine," Josh agreed. I smiled.

"Can i borrow your laptop?" I asked.

"Sure, for what?" He pointed at it sitting next to Tyler on the couch.

"College research."

He gave me a nod, knowing I had a decision to make. As I sat up, Tyler tossed Josh a controller.

"I call player one!" Josh yelled.

"Dammit!" Tyler took my spot next to Josh as they played Mario kart again. I sat across the couch and started researching.

I started with Oklahoma state. I already knew a lot about them, but not much about their journalism department.

Columbus was a last resort in case I didn't get accepted anywhere else. They didn't have a good journalism program.

I went to Phoenix. They were pretty good in a lot of areas. A tag in the corner of the page caught my eye.

Already accepted? Ask about online classes!

I hadn't even thought about that. I could just study on the road, college and tour at the same time.

"Josh!" I exclaimed, scaring him.

"What!" He was concentrating on his game.

"I can take classes online!"

Josh paused his game and ran over to my side of the couch.

"Holy... I didn't even think of that!" Josh watched as i started filling out the application process and the information on my acceptance letter.

"Do you wanna go to Phoenix?" He asked.

"They're the only ones who offer online." I said.

"Kyndall, remember what I said..."

"I know, I know. Don't make a stupid decision." I repeated what he had said to me.

I finished filling out the form, then pressed send.

Thank you for applying to our online journalism program! We will email you within a week if you are eligible to begin online classes in the fall.

"Can you do it?" Tyler asked.

"I'll find out in a week," I said. He nodded.

"Get over here and finish this game!" Tyler yelled at Josh. Josh sat on the couch, and the race started again. I started looking up yoga classes at the the gym we went to regularly.
