Ever since I was a young girl, I've always dreamed of having a beautiful wedding, and a handsome man that is my husband.

And of course a big house full of kids.

But life has treated me different.

My parents have taught me to be independent and not rely on a man.

But you know I'm at that stage in my life where I'm ready for a family and children.

Like I definitely don't want to wait any longer, hell what would it look like my kid going to collage and I'm in a nursing home. Hell nah.

Well I know you have heard me say this on awards shows, so I will say it again: I want to thank god for being with me every step of my life.

My life could've been much worse you know, but he helped me out as always. And will continue too.

But for some reason guys fear me or say they can't deal with me in a relationship.

Ever since I took on the role as Cookie on Empire, dates have not been coming my way.

I don't get what they are afraid of, I'm just looking for someone to love too.

I'm not aggressive, I'm just fiercely used to relying on myself.

Oh well that's their loss.

Now I have a well mannered, handsome light skin man who is my bestie.

His name is Terrence Howard.

Take a good look at him:

He has been my friend for a little more than ten years.

Now I have seen this man cry.

I have seen him just broken down.

And as his best friend to see him like that,  it hurt me so severely.

His last marriage hurt him in a way that was worse than the others, that cute little baby Q who his ex wife Mira claimed was his.

Turns out the bitch lied to him, and that cute baby boy wasn't even his.

Her lying ass was just out to get his money.

Terry as I only call him, hasn't been with a woman since, well not that I know of.

Anyways, Terrence and I had a hella great time in Africa.

I can tell he had an awesome time with me as we did our thing.

But recently I have a suspicion that he has a crush on me, not just from how possessive he has been towards me.

Or maybe he was just being nice.

Especially I noticed when these African men tried to ask me out, they were gentlemen but maybe, just maybe Terry was jealous.

I mean we had so much fun. And he's a great travel buddy.

But I think he is just lonely.

Now I get what you guys are thinking:

And Yes Terry does seem like the perfect man for me.

But if we did give it a shot and started dating, what if it all goes to hell and we can't rebuild our friendship?

I would be so hurt.

Well since we are on break for Empire, I'm planning a little vacation for me, Terry, Jussie, Yazz, and Gabby.

That will cheer up my bestie cause I can tell something is bothering him, and him being himself he won't tell me.

Well since I'm hooking everyone up with this invite, my main concern is to help my bestie find a nice woman to settle down with.

And to look out for myself and find me a good man,  because as much as I love my Terry:

I will not ruin our friendship!
