??? POV
I was flying to Thor knows where, all because of that stupid village that I used to call home. You see, I'm a shifter, and shifters aren't welcome on my home island of Gred. My father was the Chief. We always left the dragons alone because they never tried to harm us so why should we harm them?
All I remembered was what my father said to me after I shifted because I got mad:
You are nothing but a disgrace and a mistake. You should have died when you where born!
When he said that, I blew up our house and flew off and now I have been flying for three days straight.

3rd POV
"You did it, Hiccup! You get to kill the dragon," yelled a man called Gobber the Blacksmith.
The boy ran out of the academy and straight to his house. The villagers thought he just wanted to get some rest for his big day tomorrow, so they left him alone.
A black dragon emerged from Hiccup's window with an 'unconscious' Hiccup. The villagers immediately knew nothing of what that dragon was. It was a NIGHT FURY!
The father of Hiccup swore to kill every night fury he laid his eyes on!
