How to make an oc character

Roleplaying: How not to be a dick

Roleplaying or rp for short. Being all of your ocs and interacting with other people's ocs. I've been in some and I had a jolly ol' time. But then there's... those people.

Me: Crepe played on the slide, enjoying herself.

Mary: THEN DARKNESS ROSE STABBED CREPE IN THE BACK WITH HER KNIFE AND SAID, "GO TO SLEEP"

Me: ...This is a kindergarden rp

Okay that didn't actually happen once but it might exist. Today, I will teach you how not to fuck up in a rp.

1: Follow the damn rules

Just do it man, that's the one damn thing you should always do. 

2: Stay in character

If you're playing as a cannon character, stay in fuckin character. Unless it's an nsfw rp, then you can add in slight differences but don't change their personality all together.

Me: Frisk walked into Sans' and Papy's house. They saw Sans. "Hi Sans." Frisk waved.

Mary: Snas pushed Frisk chan up da wall, "Ayy sezy" he said and licked her neck.

Me: Frisk jumped out of the window.

3: Don't be salty

If your character dies don't throw a hissy fit and go onto a different rp.

4: Don't pull the bullshit card

You know when your character is obviously gonna die or go the obvious way but the rper pulls some half assed bullshit so that everything can go her way? Yeah that.

Dammy shoved Gary away, "I'm sorry but I don't love you." and she walked away.

BUT THEN, Dammy realized that they truly loved Gary and smooched their face.

Dammy put a restraining order on him for using a love potion on her.

5: Keep it pg 13

Hey you don't know how old that kid is on the other side, so keep your fetishes to yourself.

6: do tHE SIN PRIVATELY

Hey hey my guy.

If you do teh sexy sexy bang bang rp trash wide open.

Make sure ya do it private.
