June 5th, Friday morning-
Karina: "Karlee wake up, your gonna' be late for school."
"Ugh", Karlee yelled as she forced herself up out of bed.
Karina: "We only have one more week of school so at least be happy."
Karlee: "Happy? How do you expect for me to happy ever sense mom and dad went missing last month?"
Karina: "I have to tell you a secret that no one else will hear about, okay?"
Karlee: "Okay tell me about it."
Karina: "Mom and Dad never went missing."
Karlee: "What do you mean by that?"
Karina: "I mean that our parents purposely decided to leave us."
Karlee: "Stop coming up with this nonsense. They would never just leave us."
Karina: "Well they did and I know exactly why."
Karlee: "Why?"
Karina: "Do you know that huge designed poster that they kept above the fire place?"
Karlee: "Yes, what about it?"
Karina: "They used that to communicate with TLD."
Karlee: "what's that supposed to stand for?"
Karina: "The Living Dead."
Karlee: "So is that what the letters stand for above that poster?"
Karina nodded yes then began to walk away.
Karina: "Come on lets get ready for school now."
As karlee was getting herself together she thought to herself why would her own parents be communicating with TLD and why have they been hiding this from her and not Karina.
