the proposal

DANTE POV

I know I am not into all this romantic stuff but I just think that Lucy will appreciate it after all she has been through this past couple of weeks however I have decide to give her a romantic proposal that she can tell our children in the future, even thou my heart is incapable of love and Briana has destroyed my heart and betrayed me beyond all forgiveness, I think Lucy will be grateful and will be more in the spirit of getting married.

I have decide to take her to an Italian restaurant, I hope this will remind her of her time in Italy with her mother

" this is nice" she said sitting down on a chair I pulled  out for her, she looks so beautiful tonight, I can see all the man in the restaurant staring at her. she is wearing a black strapless cocktail dress with blue high heel stiletto paired with a blue hang bag and a gold necklace and gold earrings

"I thought maybe you would like to get away from the craziness at the house"   I said to her as I take my sit opposite her "thanks this is nice" she said with a smile looking around the restaurant. its nice to see her with a smile again, she stare at me with those enchanted eyes with question in her eyes

"is something wrong? you look worried" I ask her and she looks down and take a deep breath "its nothing just thinking" she said "thinking about what?" I ask her " oh nothing really, just my mom and dad. the thing is I want both of my parents at my wedding but we all know that's wishful thinking" she said " well its your wedding and your house now you can invite whoever you want, I don't see a problem" I said and she shake her head " you just don't understand anyways are you nerves about your coronation?" she asked with a smile and we continued making small talks until desert come, its nice to see her laughing again and so care free.  

"how about some Champagne?" I ask her and she rolls her eyes "now you ask me if I want Champagne while you have me drink wine all this time?" she said dramatic " I am guessing is a yes then" I said laughing

As champagne arrived Lucy is telling me about her childhood at boarding school and the trouble they used to get into with her friends I am not surprised that most of the silly things they did  where all Laureen's ideas. I watch her as she rise the glass of Champagne to me and I saw her eyes pooped out as she saw the wedding ring in her glass, she looks at me with a question expression on her face and I stood up and went to her side and got on one knee

she gasps and puts her hand on her mouth and stare at me "Lucy, I know I am not your favorite person in the world and I know I am not prince charming on a white horse and I guess I am not the man of your dreams but I am asking you to share your life with me not because the council told you to marry me but because I am asking you to be my wife, the mother of my children and I promise I will try my best to make you happy and I promise to be with you and only you. what I am asking you Lucy is will you marry me?" I ask her and she only stared at me with tears rolling down her cheeks

The whole restaurant is silence waiting for Lucy's answer to my marriage proposal and my heart is ponding so hard as I wait for her answer "yes" she whisper and I smile at her, stood up and take her hand while she also stood and I kiss her passionately and the whole restaurant clapped and cheer "I am speechless Dante" she said as I hold her to my chest "now you have a ring to show off to your friends" I said smiling at her and she laugh

LUCY POV

My friends are waiting for me in my room, I know they are curious about what happened at my date and to be honest I was shock to see the ring in my champagne glass, I was never expecting a proposal or anything romantic at all, since this was an arranged or forced marriage call it whatever you want, it was still nice to be asked and in a romantic way, I never imaged Dante to be a romantic guy but he sure did surprise me today.

"So tell us everything" Kristen said as she pulled me on the bed

"ok, we went to an Italian restaurant, he was nice and we talked" I said innocently and hiding my hand with the ring

"that's all?" Anjelica ask rolling her eyes

"if that's all that happened then you guys should of just eat here and save us the curiosity, so your date was basically PG13" Laureen said

"you guys are mean" I said pouting

"no, you are the rude one, making us wait to hear about your date and it was just a PG13 dated, I thought maybe you lost your virginity on this dated or  hell I will even take it if some hand action happened" Kristen said and I look at her shock

"you bitches are soo mean" I said again "oh wait, I forgot to show you guys something" I said

"what?" Laureen ask bored "BOOM!!!" I shouted as I show them the ring, I smiled as they all look at the ring in shock and I know that shut them up. 

"omg!!! Lucy, its beautiful" Motle was the first one to recover

"I want one too" Anjelica said

"oh at last the boy put a ring on that figure" Laureen said

"wow I am soo jealous of you right now" Kristen said looking at the ring

This was a perfect day and I love my ring so much, it means a lot to me that Dante has decided to propose to me and now I just hope that my Mother , my brothers and sister attend my wedding without my father causing trouble, I know he is not happy with me talking to my mother but the thing that's also making me angry is the fact that my father have refused to talk to me or even look at me. I just want to have a normal wedding like everyone else but I guess that's too much to ask.
