Dear Diary,
My Father did it again. I remember when I was a kid and looked up to him.
I don't anymore.
I haven't looked up to him since the first time I caught him with mom's friend Stefanie when I was 14.
I came home early from school one day and he had the bedroom door down the hall cracked open.
They didn't see me.
My Father doesn't know I know.
His infidelity doesn't bother me anymore.
I do feel sorry for mom.
Sometimes, I imagine none of it is happening though.
I imagine a normal family.
Maybe even a loving husband one day.
I don't believe that just because my father is a liar, that all men are.
I have to believe that there are good people out there.
Like Derek.
Beautiful, Handsome Derek.
Maybe one day he'll notice me as more than his friend's little sister.
