chapter6:there is no way in hell i am working with her

Nathan's POV:

Today I am going for a meeting at one of the biggest fashion house here in Newyork.

My stepfather owns one of the biggest advertising firm in the States.

The branch in Newyork is headed by me off course and my second in command is Alex (which works out for me perfectly since he is my best friend)

Alex I called out because we were running late and I always want to make a good impression in every meeting especially since this is the first meeting I am having with them before we even consider signing the contract.

I am super excited about this meeting because this contract is biggest so far for my branch and I want to prove to my stepfather that I am ready to head a company.

Already tired of waiting I call Alex again. Okay I am ready let's go Alex said, we made our way out of the house and enter the car

I am so excited for this meeting Alex said and I like the name Lily's it so cool he quipped

I know he was trying to bait me because he knows I don't like his so called friend "lily" and it makes me so angry that my first big meeting is in a place with that title .God knows I hate her name enough but I will shut it about the name and after our last encounter I hope I will never see her again because am not ready to take my revenge now I need to focus on the company now because that comes before any riff raff.

What so spectacular about that name ? it nothing special so stop fussing about it

If you want to know my opinion I think the name is a pretty name

I know we are not taking about the fashion house but you now taking about belle but I don't know why you don't like her she is very sweet Alex said

She is not I don't no how you can be so blind about her I said

She is the devils own daughter and you call her sweet

Why do I feel like you are not telling me something Alex said

You know what Alex, just let's forget about it because we have a big meeting and she Is not worth it I said
He just gave me a sad looking smile

I smiled back at him and we continue the drive in total silence.

Lily's POV:

I woke up very early today we are having a big meeting today at Lily's and I have to get there as early has possible

although I am still not in the right state of mind because of last weeks drama first it was Maya followed by Mr I am too good for every body

but I have to think of Lily's first because it my dream to run it one day and this meeting is very important and I can use this to prove to mum that I am capable of running a fashion house.

mum left already because she said she needed to do some things before the 8O'clock meeting.

I think mum works a lot and that one of the things I want to stop only if she can see that I work very hard and that I can take on more responsibility.

I am ready so I check my time to see if I can eat breakfast before I go to work since I didn't eat last night.
It 7 already so I decided to skip breakfast and go straight to work.

I get to work and go straight to mums office I pray silently in my mind that Maya is not there because I have being avoiding her and Elisa since we had that argument at the café
