Lara's POV

"Are you sure that you will follow him in Cali?"

"Of course Mom. Besides it's our first year anniversary as husband and wife. Ilang months na kami hindi nagkita, at bukas na yung anniversary namin kaya mamaya na ang flight ko. Plano ko talagang i-suprise siya. Tapos we will celebrate our anniversary." sabi ko while imagining those romantic scenes.

Tumango lang si Mom. "But how? Diba galit siya sayo?"

Simula kasi nung kinasal kami.. He's always so mad at me. He is smiling at other people everytime and they even said that he is a good person. Ni isang beses, hindi siya ngumingiti saakin. Hanggang sa iwanan na niya ako for California to study.

"Kinausap ko na siya sa Skype noong isang araw and he's not mad at me na." Kinausap ko na siya nyun, 5 months na kaming hindi nagkikita nor naguusap. I really miss him so much kahit alam kong galit pa rin siya saakin dahil he was forced to marry me. Kaya nabuhayan ako ng loob at ininvite siya for video call.

At nabuhayan ako ng loob nung sinagot niya yun!

"Do you want me to contact Trace para masundo ka niya sa airport pagkarating mo dun?"

Umiling lang ako. Actually, I'm planning to suprise him.

I just smirked to my mom. "No need mom, I will suprise him."

My mom chuckled. "Haha! That's my girl. Oh, you should rest first, you're excited that much to go to California. Baka mamaya, makalimutan mo mga baggages mo sa sobrang excited. Don't worry I'll just wake you up. and besides, mamaya pa ang meeting ko with the new inventors."

Yeah, I am so excited to see him. Gusto ko na ring tumira sa bahay niya dun sa California. His house is like their house here in the Philippines. But that's not the reason why I want to go to Cali. I just want to be with him and prove that I'm a perfect wife for him.

I arranged my big luggage sa gilid. Then I checked if I had enough pocket money. I bought 1m with me, syempre hindi lang naman ako tutunganga sa bahay niya no. Syempre I want to explore the whole California.

I need to rest! Mamaya-maya maiwan na ako ng airplane ko.

"Sweety, wake up. Your flight will be later." I felt something is touching me. It was mom but I'm too lazy to woke up. Still early pa naman. Mamaya pa ang fli--

Flight?! Oh shoot! I forgot! My flight will be later. I immediately got up from my bed. Baka maiwan ako ng flight ko!

"Mom! Baka maiwanan ako! Why didn't you wake me up early?!"

My mom just laughed and she come after me. She hold my shoulders. "Calm down sweety. There's no need to rush. It's still early. You have 2 hrs to prepare yourself okay?"

"Uhhh.. sorry mom." I said. Nakakahiya, akala ko kasi late na ako! You know, this is my first time to visit him in Cali. Kaya kailangan nandun na agad ako.

"Don't worry. I prepared a dress and a pair of high heels for you. If you want help for your make-up, then call Lee okay?" I just nodded and laughed. Ever since, OA talaga si mom when it comes to fashion. My mom is a fashionista. Sakanya ata ako nagmana, She's cool and everything. Nagkakasundo kami kasi maraming similarities kami sa isa't-isa.
