Arthur grumbled as he walked through the dense woods, having absolutely no idea where the hell he was going.
He had taken a trip to Scotland because his boss said he needed to 'relax and have a vacation'. Like hell he needed too. The trip was going fine, got to his cabin and talked to his old friend Liam. That was until he decided to take a walk on the woods near his house, and got hopelessly lost.
The cabin he was staying at was surrounded by the hills of Scotland except for this one forested area. Liam had told Arthur not to go in there, but curiously killed the cat.
Leaves crunched under his feet as he continued to blindly walk through the forest. He had checked his phone a million times bit still no signal could be found out here.
It was going to get dark soon too. Just his luck.
As he walked he had this strange feeling of being watched that sent shivers down his spine. He stopped in his tracks and looked around, fear now going through him thinking someone was following him out here.
'man up Arthur' he thought to himself and continued his walk, his thighs starting to burn from all the exercise he was getting.
Crunch
He stopped again hearing the leaves behind him. He took a deep breath and turned around, his eyes widening as he came face to face with the snout of a large creature.
He fell backwards in shock before looking up at what he could tell was a dragon.
Now he always believed in mythical creature, but to actually see one...
The tan dragon tilted it's head curiously like a dog would, and leaned down sniffing the brit on the ground.
Arthur stood completely still, not wanting to frighten or worse anger the beast. He was even more surprised the moment the Dragon started nuzzling his chest.
Arthur lifted his hand up and stroked the scales on the creatures head, smiling softly to himself. He never thought he'd see something like this, and if he didn't he was sure a dragon would kill him.
He noticed 'small' the Dragon was compared to how people pictured them. Though, small being several feet taller than him, but most drawings made them bigger than trees.
Assuming it was a younger dragon he continue to pet it, chucking lightly as the purring like sound it made before hearing a voice behind him.
"What the hell are ye doin with ma dragon lad?"
