"I'm going to need you to stay after work with me tonight. We have a lot of work to get done for the business trip. We only have three weeks left." Mr. Taylor shouted to Ms. Conners.
She simply nodded her head and walked right back to her desk. She has been working with Mr. Taylor for about five years and she barely knows anything about him. It's like he's hiding something from her, but she makes enough money a year not to even care about his life. He called her back into his office asking for her to make a cup of coffee and she quickly ran to go make it in the employees kitchen.
He has rarely asked her to make coffee for him in the past five years they have worked with each other. Normally he just has his other employee, Rebecca, make it. Rebecca had always loved doing anything for Mr. Taylor because she was in love with him. No one could really blame her. His dark black eyes, luscious black hair and so fit body just seemed so dangerous and every girl wanted a piece of him.
Ms. Conners came back into his office with his cup of coffee. "Thank you Ms. Conners."
He said as he slowly took a sip of his coffee. He did it in such a seductive way that she had never seen before. It made her insides twirl a little. "I only really like your coffee. I just put up with Rebecca's."
She simply nodded once again and walked out of his office. She was befuddled because he had never said a compliment to her before. He normally doesn't even say thank you. She decided to just drop it and not make a big deal out of nothing.
- Later That Day -
It was closing time and everyone had left the office except Mr. Taylor and Ms. Conners. She walked into his office and asked what they needed to get done.
"Well Ms. Conners before we do any work, are you hungry?"
She gave him a puzzled look and slowly answered, "I did not eat lunch, but I am pretty sure if we work fast enough I can get home to eat dinner. Thank you for offering sir."
"Don't call me sir just yet, you haven't signed the papers"
