Nate's POV
"I really need to set Derek up with somebody." I said to Gilinsky looking over at our roommate who was sitting on the clutch with snacks pilled around him watching the notebook.
"And fast bro." G said looking at Derek stuffing his face with hot Cheetos and watching YouTube on his phone.
"Yo D." I yelled getting Derek's attention.
" You wanna go on a double date with me?" I asked hoping he'd say yes.
"Not really bro kinda busy." Yeah busy being a slob I thought to myself.
"Please, Yasmin forgot we had a date and made plans with Namina please come so I can still hang with her." I lied trying to guilt him into coming.
"Ugh you're lucky I'm a good best friend." He said standing up to go get ready.
"Thanks man owe ya big time." I yelled to him.
Thanks God that worked. Sammy laughed and gave me a thumbs up.
Now I have to plan a double date and hope this all works out. So I need to call Yasmin.
She picked up on the first ring.
"Hey babe."
"What's up I'm busy with Namina." She said impatiently
"Will you go on a double date with me tonight?"
"Nate, I just said I'm with Namina."
"Exactly You, Me, Namina, and Derek."
"Derek?"
"Yes please for me."
"You're lucky I love you."
"I love you too, thank you so much."
" Whatever. Where are we going?"
"Oh um do you wanna go mini golfing."
"Sounds like fun."
"K we'll pick you up in an hour."
"Okay, see you babe."
