I'm here to tell you guys about a short but amazing wonderful and lovely series Over The Garden wall , if you haven't seen it, please do! I've got a lotta theories of that show and there could be a LOT OF spoilers in these theories (that also includes spoilers of other shows too)
For most of you know Over The Garden wall, it's a wonderful and amazing piece of animation Cartoon Network has ever made, and frankly, it's pretty dark.
Two half brothers walking more into the unknown, fighting between life and death
In episode 9 Wirt and Greg (short for Gregory) jump over a wall, accept it wasn't a garden wall, was a Cemetery wall. Some think it should be called Over the Cemetery wall because they went over the wall of a cemetery. But what if the unknown is nothing but a garden.
But I'll tell that theory some other time!😉
nothing of episode 9 meant anything accept the end of Wirt's flashback. Mostly there were just referencing what already happened in previous episodes. And different show.

Since it was Halloween and this explained why Wirt and Greg were in odd clothing this might have secretly show what already happened, referencing a show that's been pointed out. The show. Clarence.
The girl in the egg costume could be a reference of the chickens Clarence's family rent
Clarence also be referencing a bit of Over The Garden Wall. And no, I don't mean this

See how similar these two two clips are? In these two pictures, Wirt riding a huge bird with Greg, Beatrice, and the frog followed by many names. And not only the picture in Clarence is referencing what might of originally going to happen in Over The Garden Wall, but at the same time how it is now.

In the episode of Clarence. Jeff, Smo, and Clarence were staying up all night to see the Southern meteor shower, at one point Clarence has a toy frog. Most likely to be a garden gnome. The perfect reference Jayson funderburker (Greg's frog)

Now I know they don't look very similar, but this could show the evidence in most of that episode, reference many episodes of Over The Garden Wall
