Chapter 2: what is seen is seen

Vena's pov *

I woke up on a steel bed surrounded by brick walls. (I can't remember anything, where am I?). As I slowly rose from the pavement, I soon realized I was surrounded by dead animals that have been deformed to the point where you can't even tell what's what.

I underestimated my stomach and vomited on the ground in front of me. The room j was in was very small like a closet a walk in closet. There weren't any Windows or doors. But there was a mirror I took a few steps towards the mirror when it moved.. something is coming throughout the mirror or is trying to. The sudden movement made me scream, I start to approach the mirror again still startled by the fact it moves. I look into the mirror and my eyes widen and I cover my mouth trying not to scream again.. It's me behind the mirror. I started to panic, my breath becomes short and heavy I put my hands on the sides of my head still not looking away from the mirror and not knowing what to think. (Is that really me or is it someone else, no there is only one vena, the great vena.. me.) I have somewhat calmed down and I look around some more, as I turned my head I notice that one of the dead deformed creatures has a tiger head with a Fox tail hanging from the neck still dripping wet blood. I continued my gaze and turned slightly just to see a turtle shell with wings coming out from out of the the under-sides, and it slowly is turning I waited to see the front and there is a human mouth that is unhinged with no teeth on the under shell of the turtle. I screamed louder than I ever have, I continued to panic I started scratching at the walls trying to find a way out or dig a way out. There was a loud crashing sound outside of the wall I turned in the direction the sound came from, breathing heavily I saw the mirror broke..it looked like me but with hooks in its mouth holding a smile, the fingers are sharp and long, the eyes were clipped open with staples the hair was messed up and almost gone it was really tall the arms were sliding on the ground and then it looked at me.

The wall broke and I fell for a long time.
I woke up ice cold (snow?) I get up glance around and start walking. I don't know where I'm going, but I know it's away from here.
I got to a town after a few days of non stop walking/running, I ended up in a town called rinah (ree-nah) around near dark. As walked down the main road I past a mirror shop I glanced at one of the mirrors, and noticed that the creature was looking back at me. I screamed without meaning to, I fell back on my back people were looking at me as I star to ask people passing by me "d-did you s-see it, it looked at me!" I looked back at the mirror and it was my normal reflection. I started watching all directions searching for the monster behind the glass. I turn around and the it was, standing right in front of me I fell to my knees. I froze I couldn't move at all. The people once walking by are now running every direction away from the creature. My mouth is dry I feel a warm liquid run down my cheek tears..No it's drooling. The creature is standing over me drooling, a deep voice then whispered " I found you my twin, you can trade me places now and I can live in this world while you live in mine.."
" I don't want to live in your world I want to do what I do best"
"And what is that tiny little creature behind the glass" after it said that I realized that it's a floating mirror that the creature is in. "Chase...away CREATURES LIKE YOU!" I grab a rock and smash the mirror before I could reply and then I jump on a horse and go as fast as I can. (Sorry I can't chase anything away but I will be back...)

/4 months later \°^°

I walk into the inn at the dark kingdom near the trees of mystery. And the woman that is at the counter was blind with clocks in her eyes and she looks up. "One room is 400 stones depending on how big you want the bed, there are four rooms left." The green haired girl says with a warming smile. " I would like half a kings size how much would that be?" I replied
"That would be 500. Stones" I pay the woman. "Which room would it be" I said as the woman grins "8" she answered. I walk up to my room and open the door, the room was covered in mirrors. I turn around and try to open the doors. (Locked) "LET ME OUT. SAVE ME. HELP ME!!!" I started screaming but I just heard laughter from the woman. I can see the creature and it sees me and grins ear to ear. " hello" I say, " ah hello darling, are you ready for the trade." I reply immediately " no go away" it then said " why I am your closest friend I have known you longer than you have known yourself, I am the one that has been keeping you alive all this time, telling the gods that you are worth waiting on, that you can save them that you can help them telling them you can help me."
