Chapter 1: Less Than It Already Is

"There are times where we regret and there are times where we don't... in this dimention we have our king hes kind but also cruel with a large jaw then we have our queen she never show very much emotion all she does is plainly smile. Then there is our prince he disappeared and hasn't been seen since. I have been assigned to find our prince but I'm not doing it for justice I'm doing it for the MONEY! oh delicious money is so very needed. And yes I know I'm horrible I have nothing to hide I'm just some selfish pricked. Running around in this world and many others."

I explained " But why are you tel-" "WHY YOU ASK! Well ill tell you. I had been wondering around to find peoples. problems and then I fix them for money I work for someone named Alexander L. he has been like a father to me. " Are there any problems in this town random citizen?" I questioned " Why yes haven't you heard about the dark wood forest its super haunted and I heard there is a evil witch that lives somewhere in it. She isn't just any witch though she has cursed our entire valley the only light we get is from the sun. No one knows why she did it some s-" " I THE GRRREAT VENA WILL SAVE THIS VALLEY AND SHATTER THIS SO CALLED CURSE AND CHASE AWAY THIS WITCH!!" I interrupted.

As I part ways with the civilian called Becky I head into town and gather information and a hotel room hoping that the small room will be enough. Once I had taken care of a shelter I went and bought a few smacks. Once I had gotten the right tools to 'chase away' the witch I went to the Bar where people are drunk enough to spill the secrets.

I went to a pub called beans and brew where I had met a man called Gastoven he had mentioned that he knew a guy that went into the wood two years ago but never came back. He also said that he would people that I was going into the woods the chase the witch off and ask if anyone wanted to help, but I told him I worried alone so I continued on with the plan and bought a woman a drink and asked her if she knew anything but she just rambled on about how much she misses the prince and how he needed to come back to the kingdom. As I continued I noticed that there was no bartender just a raven on the counter so I decided to ask about that too, and the man that was with the rambling woman said that an old man used to run this place but he died, so his grandson recently has been taken care of the pub. Then I decided to call it a night a went to sleep at the hotel I rented. The next morning when I woke up I had realized that I left my notebook at the pub so I went back and it was unlocked so I just walked in but, when I did I noticed to bold shoulder men were yelling at a boy behind the counter something about being under aged, unfortunately I walked in to early to here the whole argument. " I AM PERFECTLY A- good morning mam' how may I help you" the boy stuttered and continued as the two men turned around I noticed they were wearing badges. " Oh I'm sorry did I interrupt you" I said one of the men then mentioned " oh we were just leaving, " then turned and mumbled something to the kid, and left. After the men left through the doorway I had asked this child his name and birth place, he said " who wants to know? And besides I do not know you.... stranger danger."

"Well thanks for the compliment.... I hope you realize the wall of devilish goodness is THE GRRRREAT VENA!!! And besides you should still be in school... So how is that going." I continued. The boy in front of gave me a sly smirk and turned to the bar " do you drink miss Vena? I am one of the best bar tenders in the country." He slowly turned around and glanced at me. " Uh no thanks, I am not interested in drinking a child's drink." I exclaimed, " Oh that's a shame..it really is delicious." He continued, " well I'm sorry thank you for the offer, you are avoiding the question." I glanced at the boy and turned to the age limit sign and mentioned " according to this sign age 18 is the youngest you can be." I turned back to the boy and grinned. " I am Leo. I am 19 ,and very short for my age. If you don't believe me I have the records." *pulls out a file of papers*  I took the file from his hand , I looked up from the from the paper with a photo of him,

identical....(shit) I thought to myself. (Why we're those guys here earlier then?) "Well then, fine. I'm here to ask you a few questions about the-" Leo interrupted " the witch of the forest, Ya I had a feeling... but unfortunately I don't know anything." I started to pace back and fourth. " Hmm I wonder what would happen if I mentioned callirou," but the the ceiling broke through and a body fell through hanging from the knee she swung back and fourth terrified I turned towards where Leo was standing then wham! I was unconscious.
