Scarlet POV
I wonder if our dogs name us like we name them or if cupcakes could talk what would they say 'don't eat me please I have a familyyy' oh well now am hungry .
"Ms Scarlet would you like to tell us about why the gods ended up being statues" said my asshat of an English teacher , we were reading some cheesy novel about gods and he suddenly decides to ask me , well if that's how he wants to play it .
"Nah , am good teach"
"Excuse me"said my teacher with a priceless expression am not backing down now.
"You are excused"
"Ms hunter what do you think you are doing"I know lame name that my parents gave me when they adopted me , they don't know that I know but I mean my hair is red as fire and my eyes are crystal blue when both of my parents hair color are brown as well as their eye color.
I just put two and two together.
"Hunting elephants what does it look like am doing , teach"
Before we could continue with our little 'fight' someone came in  "they ended up as statues because nobody could save them legend says the only people who could were sent to earth with the hopes of meeting each other and falling in love so their powers together were enough to save the heavens"
"Very good Mr Ethan class this is the new transfer student I was talking about he will stay here for the whole school year, treat him well .
He had shaggy black hair and grey eyes he puts the word mysterious a whole new meaning and boy was he cute we locked eyes and I could see it the longing of when I sit in my balcony to look at moon is the same longing in his eyes like he was searching for me all his life and to be honest I think I was searching for him as well , scarlet what are you talking about you have a boyfriend even though I couldn't stop staring at his grey eyes as cheesy as it sounds I could get lost in them.
After our long staring contest my 'dear teacher cleared his throat clearly uncomfortable not I was the only one staring because this boy was fineeee. Scarlet stop now , I demand you you have a boyfriend for gods sake .your are probably never going to see him again.
"Mr Ethan sit next to Ms Scarlet the red head"who the hell does this fucker thinks he is red head really god !! I know this teacher hates me I mean sitting me next to someone I don't want to get close to , someone I can't get close to , yeah being the only sit available may have had something to do with it , who is he trying to fool he wants me and Dylan to break up yeah Dylan is my boyfriend he is in the football team but he isn't like all the jocks ok he is different. I know he loves me so that's what counts even though am still trying to figure out if I do love him . I was actually going to tell him after class we were supposed to meet in the football field .
  "Hi"said gray eyes yah that's my new nickname for him .
"Hi , Ethan right " I said trying to act like I didn't remember his name , I know lame but am not myself right now I don't know why .
"Yeah Scarlet " omg he remember omg omg omg , scarlet who the hell are you becoming you are not this person you aren't one of those girls .
After one hour of reading this novel about gods I was really getting into it but of course my  asshat of a teacher told me to stay .
After everyone was leaving grey eyes was waiting for me by the door leaning against it , I could feel it like I haven't seen him in a thousand years like I missed him .
"Hi Ethan "
"Hi scarlet am sorry you have to stay with him"
"Don't worry I can handle him"
"I have missed you so much scar you don't know how long it has been"for some reasons his words make my heart beat faster as he intertwine his fingers with mine for some reason his words made me feel so much better inside , made me feel safe.
"What do you mean " I said with a tear that I didn't noticed ran down my cheek  he wiped of now caressing my face it felt good , amazing actually every touch of his felt like electricity.
"I see,  you don't remember , pity " he said as he tried to give me a sad smile and a kiss on the cheek it felt amazing not like when am with Dylan it felt right , then he left .
