My name is Tommy Colton Fairchild i live in a little town called Split Vines located in the heart of Vermont. I live in a large house in a very much crowded subdivision it could be worse though, at least i cant lean out of my window and touch my neighbors house haha.
Anyway today is tuesday and it is the first day of the last week of school at Jackson High today i would start my goodbyes to everyone for this coming up summer knowing i wouldn't see many of them only a select few of my friends my parents actually liked.
I was wide awake and my bright red alarm clock now told me it was in fact 5:58 a.m. All of a sudden i heard a series of loud obnoxious rapping on my bedroom door causing me to jump...... as my slowed i heard my mom yell "Tommy come on its six am its time to get showered and dressed for school the bus arrives in one hour you are not to miss that bus today!!!!"
"Yes ma'am" i answered rolling my eyes i was tired from the night before i was on facebook video call with Chelsea my girlfriend until 2 am then finally told her i would see her at school the next day for breakfast.
My clock now said 6:10 i got up not really wanting to but i knew if i didn't go then the school will call my mom and dad and i would get into some real trouble.
As i step from the shower and towel dry my short dirty blonde hair and finished drying my body as well, walked into my bedroom since i had my own bathroom connected to my room. i opened my dresser drawer to find some matching clothes that would look good for todays outfit i pull out american eagle pants size 28L 26H. I know i know I'm short but on the bright side i was soon to be on the varsity football team of my highschool. i take out a grey washed out hollister shirt out of my shirt drawer and put on black timberland boots to match the outfit.
After i left my room making sure to grab my house keys the clock on our cable box read 6:55 i had no time to go grab my ipod but i had my phone so it would do for today.
I barley made time for catching my bus thank god i lived on the road i climbed aboard so i could ride to the schoolhouse once there as i strolled off the bus i noticed the odd dark blue SUV with an odd couple yelling about something the only reason i noticed is because they were staring at me intently and guesturing towards me i felt a really bad knot start to form in my stomach i just felt really uneasy.
Throughout my day i tried to push the uneasiness to the side in order to get my schoolwork done.
At the end of the day i got off my bus at home to find the same dark blue SUV sitting about a block away in view of my bus stop still staring at me watching as i made eye contact and threw up my hands as if to ask them what they were looking at as soon as they noticed that I had acknowledged them they sped in reverse whipped it around and sped away their license plate was not into view good enough though
I walked through my front door to be greeted by my dad with an angry expression on his face "Is everything okay??" i asked.
He replied with "HELL NO I CANT GET A FUCKING MINUTE TO MYSELF IM CONSTANTLY WORKING HOUR TO HOUR JUST SO WE CAN LIVE AND NO ONE IN THIS GODDAMN HOUSE APPRECIATES SHIT AROUND HERE!!!" and with that he was gone had slammed the front door and slammed the car door and was simply gone. I assumed he was going back to work. I climbed the staircase to my bedroom ahh i was so exhausted. the last thing i seen was the clock before the wonderful darkness welcomed me into a dreamless sleep.
