Sweet Memories (BEN Drowned's Daughter)

Beginning

Hi my name is Tess,its not too long nor short. What's my last name? I don't have one, and I don't know who my father is,just my mom,her name is Emma but she doesn't have a last name either. We live in a small grey one story house,close to the woods. I've always loved nature but I hate water. Except for a shower of course but I don't look forward to those. I'm 14 with blond hair and blue eyes,simple. My mother has brown hair and green eyes, she says I get my looks from father. Right now its the afternoon,and really peaceful. I'm on the couch playing video games upside down as mom makes dinner. "Honey how do you do that?" Mom asks me. " It's easy!" I say not missing a second of Ocarina Of Time. My second favorite,my first being Majora's Mask. Mom said that was dad's favorite. I don't understand why he left,mom said he left when I was born. And that he would come back when I was sixteen to see how I was and if I was alive. Yes,apparently he doesn't have much faith in my mom considering if I would be alive or not. " Hun dinner is ready!" I walk in the dining room and sit at one of the three seats,mom sits in another, one left empty. In front of me is chicken and dumplings 'mmh my favorite.' I thought. Dr pepper to drink. As we ate mom started " Tess your birthday is in a week your sixteenth birthday to be exact, and your father will be coming and I know you might be nervous but you might have to live with him." She said the last part really fast but I caught it."What!?" I scream.
