Charlotte opens her eyes and closing them again, feeling the rush of heat fever surrounding her, and a pounding headache, she calls Henry's name asking "Henry where are you..I'm dying today....I'm need you..." after a few minutes he hasn't come or heard her, and charlotte gets mad...and says "henry.. you better show your face in here in 4 seconds!...before I come downstairs and make you come here!...you made me sick!...now you better have something for me!..to cheer me up!..I'm not a morning person and you don't want to see that! side!...Henry hart!! 1!.....2!.....don't make me get to 3!....." a dying henry comes running inside...panting and huffing..."Don't get to 3! No 3 I'm here!"
Henry comes in out of breath "what's wrong Char? Everything okay?" Charlotte grits her teeth "you had me waiting...Henry hart" Henry sighs
"Sorry Char I was doing laundry now what's wrong!" Charlotte's vision clouds with tears emotions turning from her pregnancy "I'm sick! I don't feel well, I need you right now" charlotte holds out her arms to henry "Okay I'll be right back and I'm all yours Char" "Alright.." charlotte sighs closing her eyes, her arms falling with a thump
Henry goes to get Charlotte a glass of orange Juice and grabs the thermometer going back to Charlotte "okay char I'm back" Charlotte cracks her brown eyes open, with a tired expression and smiles at the sight of henry. "Thank you Henry" " your welcome , Now put this thermometer under your tongue" Henry demands Charlotte takes the thermometer from Henry's fingers and puts it under her tongue, throwing her head back with a sigh, "I don't like being sick" she whines lightly
"I didn't either and no one does but you'll get better it just takes a while" Henry sitting down on the other side of Charlotte. "I know, judging from my fever I expect this to last about probably a week" charlotte said softly, lacing her fingers with Henry's. "FEVER!" Then the thermometer beeps and Henry takes it out "101.2!" "Okay your resting and no getting out of bed and you are to drink this juice" Henry handing Charlotte the juice
Charlotte whines and turns her head, "I don't want orange juice" she pouts "You need to drink it it's good for you and it has vitamin C which is what you and the twins need right now to get better". "I want apple juice" charlotte glares at henry "Drink the Orange jucie then I'll give you apple please drink it or your not getting your sweet Henry today". "Your bluffing Henry" Charlotte starts "Am I?" "Cause I could just get up" Henry stands up "and walk out of this room and leave you alone all day" "No! Don't go!" Charlotte starts panicking reaching out for henry
"Then please Char drink your orange juice then you can have apple juice okay" Charlotte pouts for a moment "fine I'll drink the orange juice" charlotte takes the glass from Henry's hold and gulps it down quickly and hands back the empty glass "now your promise henry" she smiles "apple juice" "Thank you" Henry takes the glass going back to the kitchen pouring Charlotte a glass of apple juice walking back to his and Charlotte's room sitting down next to her handing Charlotte the glass.
"Yay, thanks hen" charlotte pecks Henry's cheek with a wide smile and drinks her juice. "Your welcome Char baby" Henry then hears someone knocking at the door "hmm I wonder who that could be?" "Henry I got a new bucket!" "Oh it's Jasper" Henry getting up answering the door
"Hey Jasp Char is sick today so I can't hang out with you" Jasper frowns and looks at his bucket for a moment "then I came at a good moment! Here's a bucket for charlotte as a get well present" jasper smiles and hands henry the bucket "you'll need it trust me".
Henry takes the bucket "thanks but you know Charlotte hates your buckets but I'll gladly keep it for myself". Jasper nods "but you know charlotte is sick right? So I advise you put it beside her bed, incase you know she starts to feel actually sick" "Ew yeah you have a point Jasp good idea". "Thanks man, just looking out for charlotte she's my best friend". "Well I'm sure she'll thank you later if she does get really sick". "Tell charlotte I send her a message to get well soon" jasper pats Henry's shoulder and waves goodbye as he starts heading out the door
"I will thanks Jasp" Henry closes the door walking back to his and Charlotte's room "hey Char Jasp brought you a present and says he's send you a message to feel better soon" "Charlotte sits up looking a tiny bit pale, "I wish I could've said thank you to jasper..and what's my present" charlotte said eyes brightening "This Bucket" Charlotte frowns "jasper knows I don't like buckets". "Well you might need it later so I'm gonna leave it on your nightstand" Henry setting the bucket on Charlotte night stand
Charlotte eyes the bucket upon the nightstand not giving it much thought. "Now I'm gonna go make you some chicken noodle soup would you like that?" Charlotte hums in response, "sounds great, oh but can you get me a side of ice cream too". "Pistachio is what we're craving right now" "Char your sick you need to eat lighter things that won't be heavy on your stomach". "Ice cream is light on my stomach! I just want some ice cream henry or I won't eat chicken noodle soup" charlotte crosses her arms "Okay well it might help bring down your fever so okay I'll get you some ice cream just for you and our twins" "Thank you henry! You're the best!" Charlotte cheers.
Henry goes to make Charlotte's soup and gets her some ice cream bringing it back to her "Okay Char here's your ice cream and soup now eat slowly while I go finish doing laundry" "Thanks hen" charlotte says softly, taking a first bite of the green ice cream". Henry then leaves going to finish the laundry A few half hour later, charlotte is finishing her last spoonful of soup, when she feels it, the sick twisting in her stomach she drops her spoon and covers her mouth, "henry!" Charlotte screams grabbing the bucket Henry comes running back in "CHAR WHATS WRONG!" Charlotte grimaces and throws up again into the bucket
Henry goes over to Charlotte rubbing her back moving hair out of her face
After a few minutes charlotte stops throwing up "You okay baby?" "I'm fine, just sick" "Lay down and get some rest okay I'll leave you alone so you can sleep" "No don't go hen stay with me" Charlotte pleads "Okay I'll stay with you" Henry laying down next to Charlotte Charlotte smiles and wraps her arms around Henry's neck. Henry wraps an arm around her waist and his other hand rests on top her bump. Then big sleep clouds come storming over their heads hitting then both into a deep sleep
