To whomever reads,

Waiting for the call from the doctor is tearing me apart. I know that if I have dementia, my life will break into millions of pieces of glass shards; hurting the ones that are closest to me and leaving everlasting marks. But then I got the call; the man told me in a monotone voice that he was sorry to say that I had the stupid type of dementia that's rare and can't be treated. He told me I have six months before all my memories are gone. That's when it hit me, how important life is. You just don't know until you hear something so terrible, that you understand how valuable what you had was. I'm sorry if I lacked details, I am still so in shock from the call, and if Marina ever reads this, I don't want to upset her. Oh, god how am I going to tell Micheal and Marina, Michaela, and Maggs? God, I don't even know how to tell myself.
