The Acts

This is a strange tale about a pair of twins Bonnie and Mackenzie. Bonnie was very petite, her legs were most of body, she had big blue eyes and a small button nose inbetween her rosy cheeks, although her features were hidden by her long golden hair. Mackenzie had spouted at a young age and just never stopped, he towered over everything. He has very plain features like Bonnie but his face has speckles of freckles all over it.

It was difficult for them since as they lived with a travelling circus and they were some of the few people who didn't perform and didn't have any deformities or abilities. They mostly help clean and set up the main tent. Bonnie was especially used for doing everyone's make up/costumes and Mackenzie helped with the lifting.

The circus was their family. They all watched them grow, taught them, loved them.
Marie aka the big footed women acted as their mum, she travelled with the circus because her feet were extremely large, they weren't just long, they look as though they were seriously swollen. Their adopted father had passed, his name was Grahame, he was the strong man of the circus up until he passed. They were raised with George aka the toad boy as their brother. He was abandoned by rich parents after they grew tired of hiding him in their castle, Marie found him and brought him back to the circus. 

The circus weren't the only freaks in the town, there were so many mystical creatures, some friendly and some well really not so friendly,
the nuckelavee are an example of the not so friendly. They were horse like demons with features of a human except they have no skin so they're a deep red colour with all their veins exposed. Although their mouths were the scariest thing about them, besides their fiercely large teeth they have foul, deathly breath that is unmissable. They carry deadly diseases in their salvia that could cause serious, sometimes fatal illness in humans if digested. The nuckelavees are vicious creatures. They thrive on attacking vulnerable humans/creatures and drag them back to their loch where they would devour them. There are only three known ways to fend of the nuckelavee, 1. The stench of burning kelp would drive them crazy, they would leave running, 2. the nuckelavee were creatures of the sea and couldn't come in contact with fresh water, if you crossed or were in fresh water then the creatures were impatient and wouldn't wait on you moving, 3. The mither o' the sea, the mither o' the sea was the creature that gave life to all living things, she was a very powerful creature, she tries to bring peace to all she can, she is said to calm all storms and oceans, once she catches the nuckelavee she confines them to the bottom of the sea.

The circus tried to make friends with all the mystical creatures, they didn't want to be outcasted even more, although most creatures were hostile and took sometime to become warm towards the circus folks but time helped them develop many of their closest friendships.
Iris traci was one of the closest friends of the circus, she was a baobhan sith. She is thought to be a vampire, a myth, something told to children to make sure they never stayed out passed dark. She did stereotypically fit into the description of a vampire although she never killed humans and could drink any type of blood, human, vampire, animal. Iris was often referred to as Madam Traci, this was due to her elegant appearance, she kept herself very well preserved with her ginger curls near perfect and her gowns always formal. Iris lived in the very same castle as Toadboy, only 50 years earlier. She discovered this through the circus folks and with this she developed a motherly bond towards him, protecting and gifting him when she could. Madam Traci was chased her out by her sisters husband when he found her in a pool of blood with her lips around a slash on the side on the dog, she fled before they could burn her in the centre of
Town, she travelled alone until she met Nicol.

Nicol Mackie often travelled with Marie. He was half man half wolf, he was always like this never changing into a full wolf or full human. He was a Wulvers, were very friendly and only ate fish or plants, they had a loyalty towards humans, often helping people of lost or hunger by guiding them to land or bringing them food. Nicol roamed around a lot and often brought food to the poor families in the villages around the circus. He was loved by the camp and was their main source of hunting, bringing fresh fish back almost every night. Nicol was seen as the guard dog for the camp, protecting all acts and keeping alert for danger. Hehad the face of a human but covered in hair with long whiskers coming out his cheek, his body was completely human apart from being covered in hair and the palm of his hands were like paws, padded and black. He spoke perfect English but reacted like a wolf when angry by growling and howling.
