i couldn't believe it. callie is here. i thought i would never see her again, you know after what my brother did to her. i couldn't believe it.

im assuming callie went back to her room and i still just stood there in silence.

"do you know eachother already?"

i heard lena say again.

"no, i um never met her before -

i lied.

can you show me where ill be sleeping please!?"

stef gave lena a stern look.

i wanted to quickly change the subject.

"ah yeah sure, you can sleep on the couch over here for now -

she brought me to the couch.

ill go and grab you some extra pillows and blankets."

"also where is your bathroom, so i can clean up my face?"

"down the hall to the left" she said.

i started walking to the bathroom and said thank you so softly i don't think she even heard me.

i went into the bathroom and cleaned up the blood. then went to sit back down on the couch.

it was weird and awkward. the other teens were kinda just doing whatever. didn't even really care that i was sitting in their living room. i know callie didn't want to see me and frankly i didn't want to see her.

lena came back and gave me extra pillows and blankets.

"make yourself at home for tonight. we will talk about everything in the morning, it'll be okay, and we will get you back home safely." lena said as she tapped my shoulder.

i said thank you so softly again and laid down on the couch.

*lena's pov*

i walked into my room, as stef was getting ready for bed.

"honey what is going on, and who is this girl and why is she sleeping in our living room." said stef.

"i don't know her name, as i didn't ask. she was lying a street bench, crying her eyes out. i think she's a runaway, so i told her she can spend the night and we will figure things out in the morning."

"hun, you know we don't have the extra space right now, since b moved back in." said stef with that stern look.

"just for one night."

stef gave me another stern look.

"okay whatever you say missy."

she put her hands on my waist and leaned in for a kiss.

we both laid down.

i grabbed stef's hand.

"just one night, i promise. she'll be back home tomorrow."
