Chapter 3 (WOTP) Chael and Luke's side

Chael's POV

Marami sa inyo na-iinis at nagagalit sa amin ni Luke. Pero ako na nagsasabi, hindi namin pinagsisihan ang desisyon namin noon.

FLASHBACK TO 2 YEARS AGO

(Day 1)

Pumasok na kami ni Luke sa loob ng hideout ng lalaking kinasusuklaman namin parehas. Madaming tauhan sa loob at lahat sila ay may hawak na baril. Pinapasok kami sa isang kwarto at sinabi nung isang tauhan na maghintay lang daw kami. Nakatayo lang kami ni Luke doon at tinitignan ang bawat sulok ng kwarto.

Napatingin kami sa pintuan nang bumukas iyon at pumasok ang lalaking sumira ng buhay namin. Ngumiti siya nang makita kami. Nagawa pa niyang ngumiti samin? I fcking want to wipe that smile off his face!

"Maupo muna kayo."

We didn't move but instead I walked towards him to give him a punch but Luke stopped me.

"Chill, dear Chael. We're here to have a peaceful conversation about the antidote, right?" sabi nito na may ngiti pa din sa mukha. Damn! The audacity of this monster!

"Chael, calm yourself. We need to," kalmadong sabi ni Luke sa akin. Thanks to Luke at nandito siya dahil kung hindi baka kanina ko pa napatay tong lalaking to!

"Have a seat, boys."

Luke lead me to the sofa and we sat there. Umupo din siya sa harapan namin.

"How about a tea or coffee--"

"Talk now!" I shouted and he just freaking smiled. Is he insulting us?

"Alright. I only have one condition for you to get the antidote---"

"Enough with the nonsensical words. Just get fckin' straight to the point so we can leave this place!" I angrily shouted at him again. Hindi ko na matiis manatili pa sa kwarto na 'to kasama ang taong sumira ng buhay namin.

He smiled again then he continued, "It's quite simple, boys. Break up with your woman and leave your friends---"

"What makes you think that we can do that?! Hell no--" he cut me off.

"I know that their lives are far more important than anything else."

I had enough of this. I stood up and walked towards the door when he said something that really made me angry.

"You open that door, there'll be no antidote for me to give."

This bastard is really getting on my nerves!

"Hmmm. I'm waiting here, Jackson. Their lives are in your hands now. Just do what I want you to do or you'll lose the girl you love in 2 days."

Humarap ako sa bastardong 'to na pinipigilan ang sarili ko na saktan ito.

"Chael." Luke called me. I looked at him and saw his pleading eyes. I let out a heavy sigh.

"Give us the antidote first," I said while controlling myself killing him right now.

"Na uh. As much as I want to give it to you right now, it's not here---"

"Then I guess we're done here. Let's go, Luke!"

Hindi na umangal si Luke. When I'm about to open the door, the bastard said something that made me punch his dumb face.

"Then I guess they're gonna die in 2 days."

I was about to punch him again when Luke stopped me.

"Tomorrow, call me if you've changed your minds. That's your last chance, kiddos."
