How They Came To Be

"How do I look guys," smiled Mallory, the youngest of the group. "You look so cute," answered Carli, swooning over their little friend.

Mallory was literally the youngest in their little group of friends. She was 7 years old, 7 years but intelligent. Tobin, Hope, and Carli always wanted the best for the kid. Her Mother died of lung cancer while her father overdosed on drugs.

After the deaths of her parents, the three girls found her wandering the streets and kept her as one their own. She did have a tough past but she still lived her childhood, Tobin, Hope, and Carli made that possible.

Tobin was the second youngest in the group, 18 at the time. She ran away from her home along with her neighbors/lifelong best friends, Hope and Carli. She grew up with them. She fended for them and vise versa.

Both Hope and Carli were 19 and they ran away with Tobin at the age of 14 after her abusive parents beat the crap out of her. Other than that, the girls have had a fun life together, so far.

"I'm so excited! I am finally going to meet my aunt from Colorado," she squealed. "She should be here now," sighed Hope feeling depressed. Tobin pulled Hope to the secluded kitchen. "Hope, I don't want her to go," she sighed, eyes watering.

Hope hugged her friend fighting back the urge to cry. "We will see her one day," she answered. After waiting for a few more minutes, a carriage stopped in front of the two story house. Carli by the door. "May I come in," asked the lady.

"Yes ma'am. Come in," invited Carli. They spoke about Mallory who was in the living room with hope and Tobin. "We are truly going to miss you Mal," sniffled Tobin. Mallory smiled and hugged her two friends. "I am too."

They heard a loud thud come from the kitchen. "One second," whispered Hope, standing up and walking over to the kitchen. She stood in shock after seeing Carli dead and bleeding from her abdomen on the kitchen floor. "Tobin," she shouted.

"Stay here," she whispered before walking to the kitchen. Tobin turned the corner and saw both girls lying on the floor. Suddenly, she felt something press against her face. Tobin was forced to drink from whatever was pushed into her mouth.

After she pulled away, she felt two hands twist her neck, snapping it. Mallory ran to the kitchen, breaking out into tears of fear, and sadness. Then, she saw her supposed "aunt" walk towards her. Mallory ran to her.

"I need your help," she cried. "You will not remember any of this and you will go the living room and not move a muscle until they wake up. I want you to tell them..."

Tobin, Hope, and Carli woke up about 30 minutes later with huge headaches and some blood around them. "What happened," questioned Carli, rubbing her head. Mallory ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife from the cabinet.

"What are you doing Mal, drop that," said Tobin. Mallory slowly moved the knife to her abdomen. "Mal! NO," shouted Hope, quickly grabbing the knife. Tobin and Carli stood up, feeling light headed still.

The three girls smelled a scent that triggered something in them. Carli and Tobin ran outside where a lady was bleeding out. Hope stood beside them, carrying Mallory. Carli, brought the lady in and lied her down on their couch.

Hope was sent to leave Mallory in her room. The three girls fed on the lady, knowing it was wrong but still felt relieving. Tobin sighed in relief with the veins below her eyes bulging. Hope looked down at the lady with her fangs popping out.

Carli stared at both girls with her eyes slowly shifting into a different color.

*10 years later*

"Mal, are you okay," asked Tobin, running to the girl who was holding her stomach. Mallory was breathing heavily and that frightened Tobin. "What, What's wrong Mal," she asked again slowly moving her hand.

She uncovered bloody spot under her dress. Tobin's eyes widened and she carried her, dashing into another area. "Am I okay," she asked. "You're fine you're fine," answered Tobin, panicking. "Tobin I-I can't breathe," she mumbled, coughing up blood.

Tobin carried her friend and dashed to her porch. "You're gonna be okay, just drink."

Tobin bit from her wrist, feeding Mallory her blood. Mallory quickly healed, letting Tobin sigh in relief. She lifted her up, seconds before another vampire dashed to her, snapping her neck. Tobin's eyes widened before instinctively tearing the other vampire's head off.

"I didn't want this for her!"

Tobin paced around the living room as Mallory's dead body rested on their couch. "Just calm down Tobin," flustered Carli.

"I can't! I don't want her to feel our pain! She does not deserve to! She's like my little sister!"

Mallory sat up, coughing. Tobin dashed to her and patted her back. "Am I..." Tobin nodded her head 'yes'. "Oh no," she groaned. "Are you going to finish the transition," asked Carli.

"I have no choice. I can't just leave you guys."

Hope and Carli let out a sigh of relief while Tobin stared at the ground, dissapointed.

Hope took the younger girl out to finish the transition. Tobin sat in the living room, head in her hands. Carli walked over to her friend who had so much going on in her mind. "What if she can't handle the pain? And she-"

"She won't," cut Carli, rubbing her friend's back. "We're going to show her everything okay?"
