The girl with the dad who was never there
Well he was there
But to her it felt as though he wasn't
It wasn't fair
All she wanted was to feel like he cared
Missing birthdays
Talent shows
And concerts
She was concerned
He would rather have a drink than be with her
Doing stupid things
Speaking loudly
And slurring his words
She missed the old times
When things were happier
She really did, she does
Things just aren't like that anymore

PoetryReally bad, random poetry that I've written. Warning. Very cringe worthy.
