Double Dates

It felt like we had been walking for hours when finally, the boys said we were there. There was something really warm under my feet.

The boys untied our blindfolds, and left us in shock.

We were at the beach! The moon and sun were shining down on the water. There were lights in the sand surrounding a large blanket with a picnic basket, pillows, towels, some of the boy's things, and other beach necessities.

Lily and I both gasped and put our hands over our mouths.

"So do you guys like it?" Harry and Ash asked us.

"Like it? No. I love it! Harry, Ash, you guys did this for us?!?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'd do anything for you!" Ash said looking at me.

Right then and there I felt butterflies in my stomach. I never had someone who made me feel this way. It was a really new feeling for me.

Harry said something to Lily, and she hugged him and said something back. They were goals. Actual goals!

"So do we want to eat or not?" Ash asked us smiling at me.

"Duh!" I practically yelled.

We sat down and Harry opened the basket and passed out plates, napkins, and cups.

After he had passed all of that stuff, he reached into the basket and pulled out two boxes of pizza. One cheese and one pepperoni.

"We remembered you guys saying how much you loved pizza." Ash said.

Lily and I both laughed and looked at the boxes of pizza.

Ash grabbed two pieces of pepperoni for me. He grabbed two cups out of the basket and filled mine with Mt. Dew. I squealed.

"How did you know that I loved Mt. Dew?!?" I squealed.

"A little birdie told me." He said mysteriously and grinned.

Harry grabbed some pizza for Lily and got her a drink.

They got their food and drinks and we ate in silence while looking at the stars. When we got done eating, we stayed in our spots and looked at the stars. Ash was laying down, and I had my head on his chest. Harry was laying down with his arm around Lily, and she was leaning into him.

Ash sat up all of a sudden.

"Last one to the water is a cupcake!" Ash said as he took his shirt off and ran towards the water as fast as he could.

"Hey!" Harry yelled as he did the same as Ash.

Lily and I took our tanks and shorts off and ran towards the water where the guys were splashing each other as much as they could.

Ash splashed me multiple times. He was having a lot if fun splashing me. I finally decided to splash back, and he fell backwards into the water on purpose. When he came back up, he put me on his shoulders. I told him to let go of my legs, and I dove backwards into the water. I came back up smiling. He laughed and fell backwards again.

I looked over at Harry and Lily who were having a lot of fun. This is the happiest I've seen Lily in a long time. She really needed someone like Harry in her life. Her parents were terrible to her, so she needed someone to make her feel good about herself, and Harry did that. She needs him, and by the looks of it, he needs her too.

The guys told us that we should head back up to the beach, because they had something else for us.

We were on our way back up to the beach when I started shivering. I realized that I was freezing. Ash must've realized it too, because he went through a bag that he had brought with him and pulled out a jacket. He handed it to me. I said thank you and put it on. It was ginormous on me. It went down to my knees. I looked up at Ash, and he was smiling at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Its nothing." He told me.

It was something.

"What is it?" I asked laughing.

"My jacket is so big on you." He said to me laughing.

"Shush! I know!" I told him laughing.

"And you look beautiful."

We had stopped laughing. I looked down at the ground and blushed.

"Umm... Thank you." I told him. Those were the only words I was able to get out.

Ash reached into the basket and pulled out more plates. He reached in again and pulled out a cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries.

"I wonder who thought of the cupcakes." Lily said looking a Harry.

I absolutely loved cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries! Lily did too! They had picked the perfect dessert!

We ate our food, the we gathered everything and put it in a giant bag that the boys brought.

We were on our way home when Ash slipped his hand into mine and intertwined his fingers with mine. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back.

Lily pulled out her phone and told us that it was 11 at night. We decided to drop our stuff off at the house and take a walk. We walked around the neighborhood for a little bit, when Lily and I both sat down at one of the benches we saw. My feet hurt really bad! Ash must've seen that because he told me to get on his shoulders. Lily got on Harry's shoulders, and that was how we made our way back home. A couple of cars passed by us and gave us weird looks.

We got to the door and the boys were both looking at the ground smiling.

Lily and I looked at each other and looked back at our boyfriends. They both lifted their heads up, then Lily and I kissed our boyfriends at the same time.

"I had fun tonight. Thank you for everything. You too Ash. You both set it up, so thank you." Lily said to the boys.

"Yes, thank you guys so much for everything!" I said smiling.

Lily and I turned and walked arm in arm to Lily's room. We were worn out, so we both decided to go to bed.
Tonight was absolutely perfect.
