chapter 12

i couldnt sleep that night, apex kept asking me what was wrong. but as soon as he was deep in sleep around 3 am, i slowly got up and woke up banks. i pulled him outside the hotel room with thoughts filling my mind.

"ricky why the fuck are you telling everyone!" i whispered loudly

"uh, what do you mean?" banks said acting dumb

"ricky youre seriously frustrating me, that was a one time thing. this would never work." i sigh putting my hair in a ponytail

"why not?" he yelled, he put his fist to the wall wanting to punch a hole in the wall but restrained himself he yelled, and thats the last thing i remember.

i woke up crying in the dark, i heard a hand running over my face "im so sorry.." i heard ricky start crying. i cried out in pain. i saw the hotel room door, we were on the kitchen floor. i quickly ran for the door and slammed it i ran as fast as i could to the elevator, i looked in the mirror on my phone. i had blood running down my face, i had a gash on my forehead.

"did ricky fucking punch me? that fucking asshole.." i whisper putting my phone away, i walked through the lobby and they treated my cut. they wrapped bandages around my cut.

"you should be fine. just lay off swimming for about a day." the girl smiled at me "thank you."i replied

it was already 7 am. the sun was rising, i was far from the hotel, i heard my phone go off many times. i sat in the sand looking at the sun come up i just thought about everything, and my place in faze.

"i dont know if i should go back.." a small tear ran down my face, i was so stupid whyd i ever get involved with ricky? i put my differences aside, and walked back to the room. i openned the door with my key, everyone was up they all stared at me and crowded around me asking what happened trying to comfort me

i went in our bedroom and laid on mine and apexs bed, i closed my eyes hoping nobody would bother me. i couldnt sleep, thoughts ran through my head.. "lex.." i heard tommy walk in

"i need you to tell me who did that. im sorry but we need to know before we ask hotel security." tommy sighed sitting on rains bed i watched apex and rain walk in. apex came and sat beside me waiting for my answer anxiously.

"it...it.." i started to stutter i saw banks stand in the doorway with guilt all over his face. "Lex you dont have to tell them.. it was me." banks shook his head

apex turned to banks quickly, i grabbed his hand and held him down "dont.. ill explain later.." i whispered in his ear.

"banks, we need you to leave." tommy ordered, banks shook his head coming in the room starting to collect his things

"no, i should leave.. im a awful person. i dont know how you guys let me move into the house. you guys are family. if anything, banks is going to stay. hes one of the owners of faze." i sigh

"banks.. what the hell is this.." rain looked at him wide eyed coming out of the bathroom holding a pill bottle. banks stumbled over his words, "um..um..umm.. pills." rain shook his head "how long have you been on this shit? its fucking aderall." rain tossed it to tommy, tommy rolled his eyes "dude you cant be on this stuff? you have to go back home and get help. ill go book you a plane."

i sat beside apex watching everyone go back and forth, banks was actually caught on drugs.. i knew that wasnt the banks i met. i stood up and gave banks a big hug "please get better banks.." i whispered in his ear he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly

"come back better than ever ricky." i smiled hugging him one last time before he leaves. "im so sorry lex.." he closed his eyes embracing me

after watching tommy take him to the airport we all went back into our rooms, i pulled apex outside and he walked down to the beach. i held his hand tightly as we sat down in the sand knowing he wouldnt like this..

"i know were not dating or anything but were close so i thought id tell you.. a few days ago banks came into my room at night and we did have oral sex. i didnt know it was him until later on but it was something you needed to know i feel like." i looked into his eyes grabbing onto his hand

"okay.. well thank you for telling me. i do have feelings for you but i dont want to take this to fast.. so lets calm down with this until we get home and everything." he said still holding onto my hand

i was shocked apex told me his feelings, and i did have feelings for apex as well.

I laid beside rain as we listened everybody leave for the beach, I couldn't swim until tomorrow.
"Thanks for staying," I smiled
"Oh yeah no problem" rain replied
"Cod?" I smiled turning on the tv

after a few hours of playing i hit a 360 no scope crossmap wall bang. i screamed in excitement, rain smiled.

"im home!" lucas yelled

"oh hey whats up wheres everyone at?" i ask

"nikan and apex went home with these girls we met. i think they were fans im not sure." lucas said looking for something to eat

i nodded thinking, oh okay apex. two can play at this game.
