She walks into the room to kiss him goodnight.
A click of a computer mouse,
The dirty images go out of sight.
A cold sweat breaks out on her forehead
As she leans down to kiss his height.
Back in her room, she is stunned and afraid.
What on earth had taken him over,
Was he even still the same?
Maybe it had always been going on.
Maybe it all was okay.
But then again, she know it's all wrong,
The undies of pink, frilly lace.
So she thinks about questioning him.
It's better if she knows the truth.
But somehow she cannot do it,
In fear he'll be gone with a "poof".
A sigh and a tear,
Somewhat shaken,
A bit full of fear.
So she pretends not to notice,
Like he clicked "exit" in time
For if she doesn't pretend,
She'll be lost in her own sublime.
