I rolled around in my bed and lazily grabbed my phone of the night stand, without checking the caller id I answered it

"Speak" I mumble with my eyes still closed 

"Cleo are you still in bed?" My mum asked "You do remember u have to pick up 
something for me at that Lachowski's, right?" My eyes shot open when she mentioned it

"Shit! mum I totally forgot, can I not go" i knew she would still say no so I got up and grabbed my towel

"I gotta get ready, talk to you later, bye" I hung up before she could answer and made my way into the bathroom.

Skip shower part

I made my way to my walk in robe and grabbed random clothes of the rack, I braid my hair, added some hoop earrings, then I quickly got my shoes and grabbed my phone and bag.

I quickly made my way to my car I put in the address mum sent to me while I was in the shower and quietly drove to the place with soft music playing in the background.

Present

I still stood there admiring the building in front of me, it was breathtaking. I'm now wondering what's the 'thing' I got to pick up and why is it so important

I realised that I've been standing there for a while so I made my way to the big glass door and entered the lobby.

I made my way to a lady that looks as she's in he mid forties.

"Hi may I help you" she stopped typing on her computer and looked at me

"Um yeah, can you tell me which direction takes me to Mr Lachowski's office?" I smiled

"Go up the lift to 10th floor, then that's his whole office" I nodded my head "anything else I could help you with?" She asked

"No thanks, cya" I quickly followed the direction she told me to go, I entered the elevator and tapped on the 10th floor.

Minutes later the elevators doors open, the office was ginormous.
I made my way to a lady around her mid twenties who look as if she was the assistant, so I asked her.

"Hi I'm here for Mr lachowski" she looks up and give me the biggest dagger, what's up with her

"Name?" She spat

"Cleo Gomez, I'm here on behalf of my mother, I have to pick something up" I said getting annoyed with her bitchy attitude.

She turn to a speaker thingy then pressed on the button "Mr Lachowski, there's a girl here to pick something up on the behalf of her mother named......" She gave me that look that says, what's your mothers name?

"Maria" I said

"....Maria Gomez"

"Okay" she says then looks at me

"He says you may enter" she said still holding that dirty look on her face

I quickly entered the office to see the most beautiful back of a male ever. He turned around when he heard me entered and oh my gosh he's the sexiest Greek god ever especially with that suit on😉

"Are you Maria's daughter?" He asked, I quickly calmed myself

"Yup" wait who the fuck says that, oh wait me

"Take a seat" I took a seat on a chair that's in front of his desk "So Maria wanted you to pick this up for her" he said grabbing a big envelope out of his draw, then he handed it to me

"What is this?" I asked taking the envelope from him as he still types what ever shit he's typing, he just went from a solid 10 to a 2 for his attitude but he's still hot

"You should ask your mother not me" he said bluntly, how rude

"Mr lachowski, you should tell me, since I have a feeling that whatever shit is in this envelope has something to do with me" he stops typing and looked up at me amuses

"A lady doesn't cuss" he smirks eyeing my up and down

"Who said I was a lady" I said " well I am a lady and yeah but" I rambled

"Just go ask your mother" he said then goes back to typing

I sight annoyingly and walked to his door when he said "Oh and miss Gomez call me Xavier" I turned around and stick my thumb up then left the building.
