Once Peeta and Katniss's children school went on a week long trip to the capital. There they saw the arenas to all seventy-five games. When Rue and their son Rye saw the arenas for the seventy- fourth and fifth games, they were shocked. They walked from place to place and retraced their parents foot steps. They also found out that it was their parents, Uncle Finnick, Aunt Annie, Grandpa Haymitch, cousin Johanna, and Aunt Prim who got Panem to where it was today. When they got back home, the children thanked Peeta, Katniss, Haymitch, and Annie, who was visiting with her son Finn, for giving them freedom.
