"Why do I get a feeling that you're holding back something?" I asked. She met my eyes in the rearview mirror and I knew I was right.
"This is gonna sound crazy." She stated.
"Coming out of your mouth, I'm sure it will." Faith joked.
"I think Alison started the fire." She told us. Both Faith and I gave her a suspicious look.
"How in the world could she have started that fire?" I asked.
"When we were having our little fight, I saw her eyes turn into this amber red colour." She said.
"It could have been the lighting." I suggested.
She gave me a flat in the rearview mirror. "The lighting turned her blue eyes into red ones?" I shrugged.
We arrived at my house. A big two story house with a modern wooden design, and big glass windows.
I was about to leave the car when Diane spoke once again.
"Look," she said, "and when I turn out to be right don't say I didn't tell you so."
I rolled my eyes at her.
Faith's POV:
Diane parked in front of my house, a small grey painted house that we could barely afford.
"I can go in and talk to your mom." Diane suggested.
"No need." I smile while taking off my seat built. "See you in school."
I opened the door and walked in, just as I did so, my mom came out of the living room.
"Hey mom." I said.
She crossed her arms and took a good look at me from toe to head.
"Was it your fault?" She said in a stern voice.
"No." I answered.
"Was it Diane's fault?" She asked again.
"Not entirely." I replied.
She sighs. "You had a long day, go clean up." She turned to disappear back in the living room.
"Mom..." I trailed off.
"Mr. Marsie said you can have an extra shift in the weekend to cover today's." She shouted from the living room.
I took a nice soothing shower to wash of the stress of the day. I tossed my dirty clothes into the laundry basket, then slipped on my grey pajama pants with my hello kitties shirt. I went to my room and sat on my bed combing my hair. Suddenly my phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw I had a text from none other, than Diane.
I sent you an email. Check it out ASAP.
I was curious to see what she wanted, so I took the laptop which was a present from her and Noah. I opened the email she sent me and saw it was a video, the video of our fight. I texted her to let her know I got it. It wasn't too long before she texted back.
Keep watch Alison's eyes.
I rolled my eyes at her but did as she asked me anyway. There was a moment when indeed, Alison's eyes turned into an amber red colour.
I was just the lighting. I texted back, and I could tell the roles have turned, and she was rolling her eyes at me this time.
Put it at the moment when you held my arm. She answered. Once again I did what she said but noticed nothing, and I texted just that.
There was wind in the room. She texted.
I saw the video again and saw my hair move. I was about to text back, but she read my mind and texted first.
BTW the windows were closed.
I giggled a bit.
So it's Alison ? I answered.
You saw it two :D .She texted.
So what she's the Avatar?
-_-. Not funny.
I laughed again. I looked at the clock and it said 22:47. I realized I was mentally drained, thus I decided to go to bed. The day had taking it's toll on me.
I'm going to bed. Good night Diane :)
Good night Faith.
I got to bed and hid under my blankets. It seemed that my eyelids waited tones, so once I placed my head on the pillow I gave in to their weight and let them shut.
