Walking out of boarding bridge humming a sweet tune, she notices but decides to ignore the obvious stares that followed her. Giving the older lady she had sat by on the plane ride a wave goodbye, she was satisfied at the muggle means of transportation she went through. The floo network for wizards was not capable of traveling as far as muggle's way of transportation, due to their advancements in technology over the last few years. Not like any wizard would admit it if brought up in conversation. Many as a result, are therefore forced to use muggle planes as a means to travel to far distances, causing purebloods who travel for work or vacation grumble. Magical beings are, after all, far above silly muggles and they should have found a way to travel such long distances without having to rely on muggle inventions by now.

Unlike most purebloods, Luna had enjoyed the plane ride and thought it was very fascinating. A muggle contraption that could fly without the use or help of magic was just impossible, yet the muggles have done it. It was a mystery that the Brit had pondered through the ride, but eventually got distracted as she was served refreshments and peanuts from the nice ladies who worked on the plane. Needless to say, she was very content with her first means of muggle transportation, excluding cars of course.

Slipping on her yellow cat-eye sunglasses, she followed the dark blue signs that directed the crowd to the baggage claim, making sure to stay within sight of her fellow passengers 'lest she got lost. Looking down at the discolored and patterned carpet, she made sure to avoid stepping on any cracks. Other than getting small glances as she smiled at the men, women, and children who pass her, the walk to her destination was problem-free and crack-free.

Waiting for her baggage to appear out of the muggle system, she stands there. The blond, however, couldn't resist but to place her hand on the contraption in order to feel the different layers of smooth metal of the machinery.

"Ma'am," Luna Lovegood hears a deep voice from behind her causing her to turn around and glance at the large man in a blue uniform with interest. The man in question took a moment to process in the uniqueness of her clothing choices that he hadn't noticed when her back was turned. He cleared his throat when he noticed he was staring at the blond who seemed indifferent and ignorant to his gaze. "Please don't touch. Your baggage will be here soon."

"Thank you," Luna looks down at the small, shiny name tag of her helper, "Mr. Kellogg, but I already have my baggage," The pureblood said patting the old, torn, and potion stained periwinkle suitcase by her side.

Being drawn to look down at the woman's feet by curiosity and disbelief, he was surprised to see the luggage and swore that it wasn't there before. Rubbing his eyes, he concluded that he had simply not noticed it, it wasn't the first time and it surely would not be the last time it will happen. Blood rushing to his cheeks in embarrassment, he looks back up at the brit, "Of course it is! Do you require any assistance?" He asked feeling obligated to cover his embarrassment.

Deciding that having a muggle who was familiar with nonmagical customs of transportation was useful, Luna asks for his help in finding means of transportation. Receiving a "Follow me," from the uniformed man, she made sure to stay close by his side as they passed through crowds upon crowds of muggles to ensure she doesn't lose Mr. Kellogg. Arrive outside the airport, the man proceeds to wave down a yellow vehicle with the inscription, Taxi, on the side of the sickening yellow paint.

Luna preferred a lighter form of yellow; daisy or dandelion colored. The taxi's color was close to being almost orange, more mountain troll puss colored than anything. It bothered the blond more than she cared to admit.

Pulling up on the curb, the car door opens to reveal another man dressed in more casual clothes. Nodding to Mr. Kellogg, he picked up her baggage without any needed guidance and placed it into the trunk of the yellow car.

Giving the man in uniform a good wave goodbye and a quick a hug, surprising him and almost making him fall over onto the concrete. "Thank you!" Luna let's go of the man, turning her back to him and jumps into the backseat of the vehicle. Confused and still shocked at her unique way of expressing her thanks, he couldn't help but wonder if she required a mental institute. It wasn't a normal occurrence that he got hugged by a stranger that he had just met at the area he worked at. Personal space didn't seem to be an issue with the younger lady, he pondered. Eventually, he shrugged it off and smiled, after all, he had always met interesting people at the airport and the brightly dressed girl knew how to leave an impression.

Watching as her helper disappeared into the pack of moving muggles from the car window, she grabs a magazine that peaked out of the cubbyhole of the seat in front of her, subconsciously rubbing her necklace that consisted of Butterbeer caps and small brown beads.

"Address?" the driver asks resting his elbow on the side of his seat, looking back at the woman as he turns on the engine. Seeing her reading a magazine upside down was surprising, but he waves it off and realizes she had not heard his question, asking it again in a stronger voice.

Removing her eyes from the piece of paper in front of her, the blond begins to look through her bright purple sweater, patting her pockets before finally finding a small ripped parchment that her old Professor and new Headmaster of Hogwarts has given her as a send-off. Giving the address to him, she goes back to her magazine while an annoyed driver grumbles. He had to call her for several minutes to catch the blonde's attention. Muttering a string of curse words, he stomps on the gas too eager to get rid of the passenger inside of his taxi.
