They always managed to get into arguments, and Taehyung knew it wasn't his fault. Jungkook was just being very immature about their situations. Despite that, Taehyung decided to permit it as one of the many flaws of Jungkook that he would come to love eventually.

He sighed and crammed a huge portion of pasta into his mouth, and Jimin snorted at him.

"Taehyung, do you want to die in the name of pasta or something? Eat slowly." He mumbled and turned his attention back to his phone. Taehyung just rolled his eyes; he was really stressed out about his and Jungkook's recent argument, it was probably the most explosive one they'd had in a while, and all because of a stupid missed call.

"I do love him, but.." Taehyung sighed as he uttered muffled words to himself, and Jimin looked up from his phone.

"Okay, what happened this time?" He slipped his phone into his pocket and sat up properly, flicking some hair out of his eyes. He watched Taehyung's various expressions with amusement.

"I don't know, Jimin. I was just talking to Hoseok over the phone about one of my assignments, and Jungkook called...but the assignment was really important, and I didn't answer." Taehyung huffed and dropped his spoon onto the table with a light clank that yet seemed to shatter the air. "...and I didn't call him back because I forgot to. The assignment really was important. Then he texted me later while I was working on it in the library, and I didn't reply because I was busy, and he saw me swiping the notification away."

"Are you serious?" Jimin snorted and grimaced. "He's such an obsessive freak."

"He's not." Taehyung retorted immediately, shooting a glare at Jimin, who threw his hands up in the air.

"Woah there, you're just as obsessed with him as he is with you I see."

"It's not...I'm not obsessed. I just love him." Taehyung leaned his elbow on the table and rested his head in his hands as he drifted off into thoughts about how to solve things between himself and Jungkook, whilst Jimin just stared at him, trying his best not to permit his walls down.

Meanwhile, Jungkook stood at the far end of the canteen, watching the two boys converse with a disgusted look on his face. He just didn't understand why Taehyung had to hang out with Jimin. Jimin was a playboy, and oh was he an ace at his game.

Jungkook knew from experience that he had many different deceptive faces, because Jungkook was played by them long ago, and he did not want Taehyung to be friends with that guy, but Taehyung wouldn't listen. And suddenly, a thought arose in his mind. Is Taehyung cheating on me? And Jungkook just couldn't shake it away.

"But I've noticed.." Jimin began, snapping Taehyung out of his thoughts once again. "..when you argue with him, you don't really argue."

"Obviously I don't, because I love him and I'd rather he take it all out on me than us break up."

And Jungkook was able to read fragments of Taehyung's words as he spoke, and it sent him into a frenzy. "I don't...love him...I'd rather...break up..." What?! He clutched his textbooks tighter and drew them closer to his heart. No...I have to do something. I have to do something before he calls us off!

Jungkook felt his whole body stiffen upon hearing Taehyung's angelic giggles from the distance. He's laughing...I have to do something...

Jimin shifted his attention back to his phone once again, and Taehyung slouched a little in his seat. "He's not been replying to my texts."

"Hm, what exactly did you text him?"

"I told him that we needed to talk, and that it was really important." He sighed once again, and scanned the cafeteria, hoping to see that one familiar face.

Jungkook quickly ducked his head behind a tall person in front of him, and yanked his own phone out. I should break up with him first. I should! That way, it's not him breaking up with me, and he'll come running back anyway.

[12:43:51] Jungkook: Let's break up.

He didn't think twice about it at all, and he really should have. In the distance, he heard Taehyung's message notification, and then dashed out of the canteen before he was seen.

Taehyung immediately lifted his phone from the table, so fast that it went flying out of his hand and landed by Jimin's feet.

"Jeez Taehyung." Jimin glanced at the desperate boy.

"I'm sorry." He rushed. "Quick, give me my phone."

Jimin huffed, and knelt down, wafting his hands around the floor to reach for Taehyung's phone. Luckily, there were no cracks on it. The phone was lit up with a text that Jimin couldn't help but scan over, and the words somehow found a way to lull him of motion. "Jungkook, that bastard." He muttered under his breath.

"What is it? A text from Jungkook? Here, gimme." Taehyung extended his arm to Jimin, who grinned and slid Taehyung's phone into his pocket.

"You're not getting it back." He cooed, and tilted his head to the side. "Only if..."

Taehyung groaned, and shook his head. "Why do you do this to me? Please, Jimin. Please."

"Coffee first."

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Okay, fine. After school. I want my phone back. After coffee."

The bell sent Taehyung shooting out of his seat. He ran straight to class after noticing a crowd of girls making their way towards Jimin. Typical.
