Your Song

127 9 4

It's way later than ten,
Still not sleepy by then.
Put my earphones on,
Go to YouTube, play songs.

Put the shuffle, repeat.
Think of you,
Skip a beat.
And I don't wanna pretend,
Think of you till the end.

Nobody.
Can tell me no.
The music.
Just makes me flow.
Play the rhythm,
Right on my cue.
But of how I feel,
Don't have a clue.

While we're singing your song.
I play it all night long.
I'm not pretending,
These chills it's sending.
I think I love you, am I wrong?
That's what I think during your song.

Once upon a time,
I thought that I had found the one,
Back when I was stupid and young.
I was so wrong, now I got something ironic.
You are better, almost as if bionic

Like an angel, sent here from heaven.
Though you act, like if you were seven.
You really changed me,
Brought brightness to my life, and now I can't let go.

While we're singing your song.
I play it all night long.
I'm not pretending,
These chills it's sending.
I think I love you, am I wrong?
That's what I think during your song.

I think.
That I am in love,
For the first time.
And I'm always playing your song.

Inspiration, thanks for changing me

Inspiration, thanks for changing me. (In the good way, though) I wrote this poem, FYI, so hope you liked it!
