Ipinikit ko ang aking mga mata but that image keeps on popping out of my mind. Baka naman dinaya lang ako ng aking paningin, that gay couldn’t be in that famous glossy spread. Shit.!

I was still reeling with astonishment and shock when I felt something warm and soft land on my cheek. Naisara kong bigla ang laptop ko sa gulat.

“What the f—k man! You’re disgusting.” sita ko sa bagong dating habang pinupusan ang aking pisngi.

“Chill bro, don’t you miss big Daddy?.” natatawang saad ni August. Nakita ko namang nagdive sa aking kama si Andrei.. as usual, tatambay na naman ang mga ugok sa aking lungga.

“God! Cut the crap August, may bagong sugar mommy ka na diba?” i said sarcastically, obviously referring to Ollie.

Hindi ito naimik.

“U-huh! Tommy baby here’s head over heels about..” tumatawang saad naman ni Andrei.

I pressed my lips together.

“Ollie and I’s relationship is...special.” August said cryptically.

Napasipol naman si Andrei..

“Way to go man! You’ve flipped the switch huh? Don’t you dare fall in love with me.” biro pa ni Andrei with a matching wink.

And there goes August’s mysterious smile.

“Are you really serious about her—him? Bago ko pa napigilan ang sarili ko, I blurted out the words. Muntik ko nang masabing “her”. I’ve got to keep this a secret, for a while.

“Who knows, maybe.” August said while shrugging his shoulders.

“You’re creeping me out man, that gay’s bad news.” i said.

“You think so?” sabi ni August, his eyes lighting up with unconcealed amusement.

“What is your game man?” seryosong tanong ko dito. I want to know kung may alam ba si August sa totoong pagkatao ni Ollie.

“Why? You wanna play?” balik-tanong naman nito.

I eyed the guy seriously. August really freaks me out sometimes.

August is my friend and so I am really concerned about him. And I guess that man/girl is no good for him.  So I’ve got to save his ass from the predatory claws of that Hunter. I smirked to myself, what a very befitting name for that witch.

Even if I don’t want to, kailangan kong sumang-ayon sa plano ng babaeng yun. If only for my friend.

God! This is so gay.

I sighed deeply.

“Even if you don’t say so, I think I’m already tangled up in your game.” I murmured to myself as I turned off my laptop.
