Monster

Chapter 3

Baekhyun's P.O.V.

We continued on with our performances after apologising to the fans. Thank the Lord that the cameras weren't filming it. Once we had finished, we exited the stage still smiling, waving and bowing to the everyone in the audience until they couldn't see us anymore. Our managers and production team were backstage waiting for us and we all bowed to thank them for their efforts as we made our way to the dressing room.

I felt exhausted and tired from the concert but my curiousity about Rebekah and Ava pushed me onwards. Never, in my wildest dreams, did I ever think vampires were actually real. To be honest, it terrified me but they seemed so innocent to begin with.

Once we had reached our dressing room, xiumin opened the door and we all filed in. I saw the two girls laughing at each other before they noticed we had entered. They turned to us and quietened down.

"Annyeonghaseyo (hello)." They say, both bowing simultaneously.
"Wow I never thought a vampire would actually say hello." Scoffed Chanyeol.
"We weren't born vampires. Our mother may have made us monsters but that doesn't mean she brought us up to be monsters. She did teach us manners." The girl will brown hair snapped back. That made Chanyeol go quiet and I chuckled to myself.
"I'm sure she did." Kai grinned.
Suho interupted back starting their greeting. "We are one!" Everyone else finished cheerfully saying, "Annyeonghaseyo, EXO ibnida." We all bowed at the same time.
"What did you want to speak to us about?" The blonde haired girl asked. She was slightly taller than the brunette and looked a little older.
"Maybe we should sit down." Suho suggested and made his way to the couches. The brunette nodded in a agreement and the two girls sat down next to each other. I sat down on the couch opposite them.

Ava's P.O.V.

I glanced over at the boys, some looked scared - well that is the be expected - but there were a few who looked oddly interested and I know Chanyeol didn't really care. I had noticed that they had sat on opposite couches to us. That's probably because we are vampires I thought to myself. Disturbing my train of thoughts, Suho speaks up to break the ice. "So what are your names?"
"I'm Ava Michaelson." I reply with a small smile, trying to be friendly.
"And I'm Rebekah Michaelson, Ava's older sister."
Chen was about to speak up but I already knew what he was going to say. "We already know your names. Why would we come to your concert if we didn't?" He smiles and blushes a little, obviously embarrassed by my outburst. I quietly apologise immediately afterwards.
Out of the blue, Kai speaks up, "Thank you for saving me, I mean us, Ava."
"You don't have to thank me for that Kai." I wave my hand to shrug off what he said.
I notice Chanyeol roll his eyes. What an ass! "You wouldn't have to thank her if they hadn't had brought that vampire hunter here in the first place. Just think about how many people they've killed. I agree with the hunter! They are monsters." I looked at him shocked.
Kai was about to argue back but Rebekah beat him to it. "We had no idea that hunter was going to follow us here. We didn't know he was going to ruin your concert or threaten you!" Oh dear she was raising her tone. I stopped her from saying anything more by taking my turn to speak.
"I have never killed anyone! In fact, I'm vegetarian. I don't drink human blood." I explain, keeping my tone calm.
"What about Rebekah? She killed three of those men on stage without hesitation!" Chanyeol shouted.
"That's enough!!" Suho raised his voice and chanyeol earned a wack round his head from Kyungsoo (D.O).
I stayed silent, not knowing what to do except look down a little.
Rebekah sighed through her exhale. "You can call us monsters if you want but you don't know who we are. You only know what we are."
I looked over to the members and my eyes came into contact with Baekhyun's. He just stares at me so I turn my head. That's when Baekhyun replies, "Then tell us." The others nod in agreement. "Tell us who you are. Let us get to know you and then we can make a decision as to whether you are or not." He reasons. That must have been the wisest sentence I have ever heard Baekhyun speak.
"Maybe your dressing room is not the best place to discuss this. Anyway you must be busy with your concert and all." I suggested, feeling slightly uncomfortable around the subject.

"Ava's right. We are really busy." Sehun agreed.

"How about after you have finished your concert and any other schedules, you could all visit us in our hometown, in America. You could think of it as a holiday and that way you can meet our older brothers as well as asking us anything you want." Rebekah put forward. I liked the idea and so did the members of EXO - well except for Chanyeol.
"Are your brothers also vampires?" Chen asks.
"Yes, we are apart of the original family of vampires." She replies. "We best be off now." Rebekah explains and stands up from the couch. I nod and get up too.
Lay stands, "Well, it was nice to meet you and talk." He glared into Chanyeol's head, "mostly." I nod and we both make our way out of their dressing room. I instantly heard someone's footsteps behind us.

"Hey!!! Wait up!" I turned around to see Suho and Baekhyun appeared too. "I just realised this but how are we going to tell you our schedules are free?"
"Oh I didn't think of that." Rebekah replied with an embarrassed look.
"Maybe we should exchange phone numbers." Baekhyun proposed the idea.
"That's a good idea." I smile at him and pull out my phone. We all exchange numbers and part ways.

This is a bit of a boring chapter, except for Chanyeol's outburst. Do you think he will warm up to them?
