I don't know why but I felt very happy. I guess, I really do love him.
"I'll tell you everything right now. Okay darling?" I prepared my ears and my thoughts and smiled back at him.
"Game."

"Congratulations, Ms. Genevieve. Ikaw nanaman ang nanguna sa batch topnotchers. I guess isa ka na sa mga predicted valedictorian ng batch ninyo." Nagpalakpakan naman ang mga kaklase ko dahil sa balitang ibinahagi ni Ms. Ferran.
I just smiled back at them and focused on what she was saying.
Second quarter na and kakatapos lang nang examinations. At according kay Ms. Ferran, I got the highest scores for our batch.
I felt happy, kasi I know I am excelling higher. Pero I felt sad. Di nanaman kasi mawawala ang pressure from all the people who are expecting something from you, and I have always hated expectations.
"Congrats Gen." Said Jake, my boyfriend for almost 2 years now. We started dating when we were at our Sophomore years and became official before we became Juniors.
"Thanks." I said shyly.
"Cheer up, Babe. You should be happy. Don't worry about them. They won't expect that much from you. Promise." He said with his tome obviously trying to cheer me up.
I felt relieved. Good thing I've got someone like him who's always there to cheer me up whenever the world seems too low for me.
We just smiled at each other and proceeded with the class.
We waited for last bell to signal that classes are over.
"You going home already?" He asked at me.
"Yeah. I think Mommy Therese prepared something for dinner tonight. Wanna come? I'm sure matutuwa siya." He just chuckled and held me on my hips.
"Sure babe."
---
"Mommy! I'm home!" I yelled outside the door para marinig ako ni Mommy Therese.
The door finally opened and my Mom welcomed me and Jake.
"It's nice to see you here Jake. Nagluto ako ng Caldereta, Gen's Favorite." I smiled at Mom.
"Thanks Mommy Therese. Wait. I'll just change first. Wait there." I hurriedly went upstairs to change from uniform to casual.
You might be thinking if where is my Daddy.
Actually, he died 4 years ago. Because of a accident. And until now, hinihiling ko pa na sana ay narito pa rin siya para samahan kaming dalawa ni Mommy Therese.
I miss him. So much.
I went downstairs and went directly to the dining area, wherein I saw Mom and Jake happily chatting. I'm really glad na tanggap siya ni Mommy Therese.
"Oh. You're here. Come, let's eat. baka lumamig pa ang niluto ko." Alok ni Mommy Therese.
We just ate peacefully and talked about a few certain things. Pagkatapos ay nagdecide si Jake na umuwi na.
Hinatid ko siya sa gate and started to bid goodbyes at each other.
"Bye, Gen. See you tomorrow." He said. I smiled and kissed him on his cheeks.
"Bye. See you tomorrow, Jake." He rode his motorcycle, and went away, and glanced at me to give me a wink.
I waved my hands as a sign of goodbye.
