What A Day

A/N: Hello Lovees, this is my first time making a fanfic and my first story on this account, so don't judge me too hard😃 <3 y'all

Kayla:
I take a deep breath. " You nervous?" "Mhmm" I say exhaling. "Well you shouldn't, I'm sure you'll fit right in!" Leo said, "I hope so." I say blushing slightly. "So should we enter, or what hot stuff?" I say smirking, "Sure!I proudly present to you Camp Half-blood!" He says dramatically then bows down with his arms out towards the camp. Making me laugh.

Hi I am Kayla and I am 16 years old. I am wearing combat boot, jeans, a plain light blue t-shirt, and I have brown hair with rainbow highlights on the bottom part of my hair.  I have lived with my father in an apartment in New York for 16 years.   My father had told me my mother had died while giving birth to moi.  But  guess she's just an immortal goddess... so Idk. 

It made my father and me very sad but we had to move on with her lives. I always felt off, I never belong to any place. I've been bullied throughout the years because I'm really random and fit no category. Monica and Calley were the ones that made my life a living Tarturus. Luckily they were gorgons all along and were killed by Leo and I,earlier that day.. Anyway...

I walk into through the barrier and step onto the soft green grass and gasp as i see all the little demigods running around and older demigods sparring. Everyone looked so happy.  

A girl with blonde hair and grey eyes walked up to Leo and I. "Hey Leo. Who's this? Your girl - " "She's my friend, who is a demigod, who is named Kayla. " Leo cut her off.  The girl smirks then extends her hand out "Hi my name is Annabeth, and welcome to Camp Half-Blood" I shake her hand. "Hi i'm Kayla." she smiles "Well hello Kayla, do you know who your god mom/dad is? "

"No, not yet but I know it is my mother because my father is a mortal." she nods. "Ok, well I bet that you'll know sooner or later." she said with a smile. Annabeth looked at her watch and smiled even wider. "Sorry gotta go, nice meeting you!" she ran off, really quickly may I add.

"What's the deal with her?" I say looking towards the dock, where she was heading. "Probably a date with Percy" he smirks.

"Who?" I ask "Her boyfriend, but he's not that hot, I on the other hand." He says gesturing to himself.

I laugh, "Geez Valdez just because you can extinguish into flames doesn't make you look hot,... But it does make you look smoking." I say laughing at his flabbergasted expression.

A Little Later

"Percy Jackson!!!!" Someone yelled. "Uh oh looks like Percy's at it again." Leo says shaking his head.

Just then a guy with jet-black hair and sea green eyes came running from the dock with Annabeth over his shoulder, she was hitting his back and giggling while he was running and people just went about.

"Does this happen often?" Is ask Leo "Yep."

Campfire Time

I stayed with the Athena cabin because I had to ask Annabeth something.

"Hey Annabeth can I ask you a question?"

"Sure, what is it Kayla?" She responds

"How do you know when to ask someone out?"

"Well Seaweed Brain over there," she says pointing to Percy, who is sitting with Leo, Frank, Nick,Will, and Jason, "didn't ask me on a date, but we did have an amazing under water kiss on his 16 birthday.

" wow you guys seem to really like each other... A lot." I say

"Well he's an idiot at times, but we've been through so much," she shivers "and we probably wouldn't have survived without each other, I really love him, and he's like really hot. " she says making me laugh.

"So when are you gonna ask out Leo." I blush, "What, him noooo." I nervously laugh.

"Alrighty then,... woah" she says looking at my head.

I look up to see the sign of Iris on my head.

Leo comes down, "Guess you're a child of Iris Queen of skittles and rainbows." He says bowing I laugh at the cute fireball.

I turn to see Annabeth and Percy side hugging each other heading towards the dock, maybe I'll find a love like theirs.....someday.
