It started with a picture. A simple picture of a simple flower. But he thought it was breathtaking. He glided his hand across the canvas of the photo. He knew who ever could capture such beauty was indeed one as beautiful as the photo, though he's never seen her before. She was a mystery and he needed to find her. The photographer, Blaire Conners.

Blaire read through the pages of her favorite author's new novel. She was in love with him. The way he made love sound and feel caused her heart to melt. She fell in love with the author because of a simple book. It was crazy how much his words spoke to her without even being meant for her, but for the world. She knew she had to meet him. The author, James Brooke.

James made his way to the book store where his book signing would be. He walked into the small shop to be greeted by his readers. He gained a lot of support from the people in his town, he was hoping Blaire would be one of those seeming as she lived in the small town. It came as a shock to James when he found out, from his brother Bryce, because it was a small town and the chances of the photographer being there out of the whole world were slim. He sat at the small table where many people were lined up in front of him. At the very back, he couldn't help but notice a petite girl staring at him eagerly.
Her hair was a beautiful dark brown and her blue eyes seemed to sparkle like the sun's glare on the ocean. Her nose was small like a button and her plump lips were a natural cherry red. She was absolutely beautiful.

Blaire eagerly watched James as he sat down in the small wooden chair. He looked up and made eye contact with her for what seemed like eternity. She smiled softly before a crimson blush made its way to her cheeks. She couldn't believe she made eye contact with the author. She took a deep breath to calm down after realizing she was fangirling. She was the last in the line which she wasn't very fond of seeming a how he would probably be tired and cranky by the time she could even say hello.
After a couple hours, it was finally her turn and she walked up eagerly to the small table before placing the large novel in front of him.
"Hi, could you... Um.. Sign this?" She asked as her cheeks rose temperature.
He chuckled lightly before nodding, "Name please?"
"Blaire." She couldn't help but notice his eyes widen.
"Last name?" He asked slightly excited, his dream might be coming true.
"Conners. Blaire Conners." She replied with confusion apparent on her face. She knew from over hearing the other fans meet him that he only asked for the first name.
"Oh my god," James breathed out in astonishment. "I can't believe I'm actually meeting THE Blaire Conners, you're even more stunning than I imagined." He said standing up.
"Um... What?" Blaire couldn't believe what she was hearing, her idol knows who she is AND thinks she's "stunning".
"You- you are brilliant. I love your photos. Oh my god, you are so talented."
Blaire stood in front of James with her mouth open wide.
"Thanks. I- uh- I love your work as well." She whispered still a tad bit confused and excited.
"I can't believe I actually met you," He said. "Can I- can I have your number?"
Blaire giggled and nodded as the two traded phones.
"I'll call you." He blushed, exchanging phones once more.
"Good." She giggled with a burst of confidence.
