A few months ago, I asked Lauren Jauregui out on a date. Long story short, she said yes, and everything went uphill from there. We're happy.

However, the public doesn't know. Being two (of many) of the most recognizable names in the music industry nowadays, it would be hard to reveal. Our fans suspect it, but they don't necessarily know for sure. As of now, it's just another random ship sailing in the sea of wild imaginations.

We've dropped subtle hints like giving small kisses on the cheek or being seen together at events, but the biggest, not-so-subtle hint we gave was dedicating songs to each other during our concerts. Lauren and I never mentioned each other's name when we sang, but I'm sure people who are fans of the both of us got the hint, seeing as #Y/S/N was a trending hashtag.

"Baby they don't know about us, they don't know about us..." After singing the last cover of the night, I let out a quiet sigh into the mic. "That's all for tonight guys! I love you, and thank you for the support!"

Racing off stage, I made my way into the back of the bus and waited to arrive at the venue of my girlfriend the next day. I waited in my bunk, letting time pass until my phones rang, abruptly stopping me in my binge watching of OITNB.

"Hello?"

"Hey!" Lauren's voice rang in my ears, making me chuckle. "How are you?"

"Pretty good, I must say. I miss you—a lot."

"Yeah... Me too, I can't wait to see you," she laughed lightly, enough to let me hear the sadness in her voice. "Three months i-isn't that long."

"You're right. Brighten up. You never know, we could run into each other on the street or something," I squeaked happily. Little did Lauren know I was surprising her tomorrow at the concert since we were in the same state. "It'll go by in no time. Oh, and you're going to tell your fans about us? Tomorrow, right?"

"That's what I plan on doing, babe," she said, smiling through the phone. "I'm really nervous, though."

"Aw, don't worry, Laur. Sure, there'll be those fans that don't necessarily agree with our decision, but all those real Harmonizers out there will be more than supportive."

She giggled. "You've got a way with words. Thanks. It means the world to me."

"Anytime."

"I gotta go, the girls are watching a movie and won't stop pestering me to get off the phone and watch it with them. Bye!" Lauren said, hanging up the call right after.

I chuckled and shook my head in amusement, then tapping on Twitter.

@Y/T/N: shoutout to all my real fans and the dedicated Harmonizers out there! you the real MVP ;) much love ❤️

I replied to some of the fans' replies, then shut my phone off and fell asleep peacefully, imagining the look on Lauren's face when I surprised her the next day.

"And the last song of the night is a cover of a song by One Direction," Dinah said. "We're gonna let Lauren take the lead on this one though."

Everyone but the green-eyed girl took a step back, leaving her quite confused. I forced back a smile, hoping my surprise would please her.

All the girls (except Lauren, of course) knew my plan, and made sure she knew all the words to the song she was to sing.

Normani pulled out a chair from the side of the stage and sat Lauren down in it before she began. "Whatcha doin', you guys?" she laughed into the microphone as she turned towards the other girls on stage, causing the crowd to let out a series of cheers and chuckles.

"We're letting you sing this one," Camila answered.

"Yeah. I mean, we'll back you up, but otherwise, you're on your own. Sorry, buddy," Ally giggled, waving at Lauren apologetically.

My girlfriend smiled and rolled her eyes playfully before turning back around in the chair, singing her heart out.

I patiently waited for my cue, and once I heard it, I walked out on stage. The crowd screamed and pointed, causing Lauren to turn around, but before she could say or do anything, I connected our lips. She smiled, breaking us apart while everyone gasped and clapped.

Despite the loud screaming, Lauren wrapped me in a warm hug. "I missed you so much," she said, beginning to tear up.

"I missed you too."

"We did it." She pulled back. "We made it known to all the fans... About us."
