The Alpha and the Witch: The Dark Days

Chapter 4

And here you are, chapter 4. As you know, I have the chapters written out. I thought I had written to like chapter 6, but then I reread chapter 4 and when I got to the end, the blank page for chapter 5 stared at me and I pulled off the classic "oh shit!" Face. So this means that I will be having another long night of typing and writing. *shrugs* oh well. Enjoy this chapter, it's one of my favorites! I'm not very creative, so I tried hard to make Nate's personality as funny as possible (didn't do a good job). Vote and comment, I'd like to know more about the few people who read the crap I type. :D

Chapter 4-

Mason rubbed the back of his neck.

"Say it."

"Say what?"

"You had something to say." I lightly touched the bark on a tree, feeling energy pass between us. It was after a long day of boring school, and Mason has invited me to walk in the woods with him to his house.

Of course I said yes. Wouldn't want to deprive him of my awesomeness.

This also helped the mission. This way I could learn more about Mason's daily routine. As Diana put it, 'Protect the Mason, Mate the Mason!'

-I was so not going to Mate the Mason...

Yet.

"How do you know I had something to say?" He glanced at me with his beautiful eyes, walking slightly ahead of me.

"You're more nervous than a dog at the vet." I glanced at him, and than laughed. "Which is a very fitting comparison."

"Hey!" He said loudly while laughing, shoving me softly. I gasp, fake shocked, and I shoved him back, making him fall into a bush.

I was dying with laughter until I realized that I would be dying of other things if I didn't-

"Run."

We stumbled through the woods, shrieking with laughter and chasing each other. Soon enough, Mason was cornering me, both of us breaking the silence with a bit of laughter.

"I've got you now, little mate."

"You started it, neutered dog," I shot back.

"I'll have you know, I am not a dog, nor am I lacking," He winked at me. I rolled my eyes as I continued to slowly back up.
