Chapter 4:The Ball

Elijah POV:

I woke up with a smile on my face, I looked down and on my chest was my mate, i smiled at her as she was starting to wake up.

"Morning Love sleep well"I said to her as she looked up at me

"Morning Mate and i did, your chest is comfy, what about you"She said smiling

"Aw i will remember that and i slept like a baby"I said smiling back at her

"Elijah, Jessica time to wake up"I heard my father shout up to us

Jessica POV:

"We should get ready and go down"I said to him as he nodded

After i said that the both of us made our way to his, well our closet where all of our stuff is and Put on our outfits for the day, then made our way down the stairs, where we saw Kol in a suit, Klaus as well in a suit, Rebekah and Freya getting fitted and Finn with his mother helping her orangized the ball since there is still a lot to do, i noticed their Father walking into the room we were all in and looking at me and Elijah smiling at us

"Ah so good to see you could join us, Jessica why don't you go and try on your dress that Rebekah picked out for you and you my son well you don't need to get ready since you already have a tux on"Mikael said to us as i walked over to the curtain where inside my dress was.

I walked in and saw the most beautiful dress i have ever seen in my life, it was a long Ocean Blue(Teal) dress, i tried it on and it fitted perfectly on me, i opened the curtain and walked out having all eyes on me and that's when i looked at the mirror and saw that it was a little bit showey around the chest area but that didn't bug me as i know Elijah loved it since he had the i want to take that dress off you right now and make love to you look on his face.

"God i wish you were my mate right now"Kol said to me as he was smirking at me but that smirk didn't last long as Elijah smacked him on the back of the head

"Kol, back off she is my mate and only i get to think dirty thoughts about her"Elijah said making me laugh as i walked back into the curtain and put my day clothes back on

"Darling the ball starts at 6pm"I heard Elijah say from the other side of the curtain

"Okay, i'm just taking it off the know so that i don't ruin it before the ball starts"i said as i walked out from the curtain to see Elijah still standing there right in front of me

"Grrr i swear i'm going to kill Damon Salvatore"i heard Rebekah say as she stood up and made her way to the door but she didn't get too far as Klaus and Elijah stood in front of her with an 'Show us the text' look on their faces

Rebekah handed them her phone and i saw Elijah face turn into disgust, i don't think i want to know what that text was about

"Wait until tonight to kill him, since he will least expect it, plus we are here so he can't hurt you and you are stronger than him little sister"Klaus said to her as he put his arm on her shoulder smiling at her before walking off to god knows where as Rebekah did the same

5 hours Later, Its 6PM and Guest have started to arrive

I stood in front of the mirror in mine and Elijah bedroom, checking myself our i turned around and saw Elijah standing there with a smile on his face as he saw the dress, he walked over to me putting his arms around my waist pulling me into a hug

"You look gorgeous my love i'm so glad that you are my mate"he said as we pulled away and walked down the stairs to find a lot of people there include ones that we already meet and faces that were new to me.

Elijah walked me to the bottom of the Stairs and told me to wait there, i saw his mom and dad walking down the stairs and stopping beside Finn and Freya as Elijah began to speak to everyone.

"Good Eveing you know when my Mother and Father get together like this, its only fair that we start the evening off with a dance so if all of you could find your selfs a partner, please join us in the ballroom"Elijah said as he and his siblings walked down the stairs with their Mother and Father so i guess they are joining in.

"My love would you do me the honors of dancing with me"Elijah said to me as i nodded and walked with him in to the ball room where i saw Klaus with Caroline, Jeremy with Bonnie, Damon with Rebekah, Stefan with Elena, Kol with a random girl and Finn with Freya, me and Elijah stood beside Finn and Freya as the music started playing.

Halfway through the dance, i started to worry and panic when ever i'm in forks and there is a party there is only like a couple of people there not this many people, i started to feel sick but that wasn't gonna stop me from dancing with the love of my life, my mate, i just have to wait until the song is over and we can go back to greeting everyone.

After the Song was over, i pulled away from Elijah and nearly fainted, but he caught me before i could fall back, i pushed his arms off of me and slapped him and when i did i saw everyone looking our way well the ones with supernatural hearing that is and the look on their faces and after seeing what i have done, i run out of the house in tears, with him shouting after me but it was no use i kept running and running till i was at the Town Square and sat down on the bench crying.

Elijah POV:

I ran after her, i didn't know what else to do i knew that she was feeling sick i could see it in her face but now it made me realize something, my love for her and how much i want her to be my wife so before i left i grab the box that i have been waiting to give to my mate and ran to where her scent was taking me and there she was sitting on the bench crying her eyes out, i walked over to her and sat down beside her pulling her into my arms as she cried but the minute she was in my arms she stopped crying and pulled away from me, looking at me with her big red eyes

"Darling i forgive you for slapping me, i know you didn't mean to do it and when you slapped me it made me realise something"i said to her as she looked at me confused

"I know that right now i'm supposed to be comforting you making you feel better, but that's exactly what i'm doing Jessica Cullen will you do me the honors of being my wife"I said to her.

She paused before giving me her answer
