Desmond Cook: The Heart Breaker

"Desmond, your wife is on line one. " My assistant Kingston told me as he entered my office. I slowly picked up the phone taking line one off hold. I took a deep breath before saying "Yes Mo? " She said while sighing "Are you going to make the Aces awards with me?" I looked at my watch before saying "I'll meet you there." hanging up before my wife could respond I yelled out "Kingston!" sitting back I waited for my assistant to enter the room. When he did I said "Look call my stylist Valentine and call Jessica tell her we're off for tonight." Kingston quickly nodded exiting my office. I sigh while closing my eyes I truly did love my wife she was my best friend, my heart, my life but the spark just wasn't there anymore. Our divorce was all over the blogs and of course I was ready to be the bad guy.

The next day

I stood in my office watching The Real Jeannie Mai said "Last night was the Aces Awards which me and Loni attended. It was amazing." Loni Love said "yes, it was which a beautiful event honoring some of the best play writers, screen writers and any more." Tamar Braxton then said "did y'all see my home girl, the beautiful Mohini serving all kinds of Queen Bey?" hearing my wife or my name come up wasn't a big surprise at all we were the talk of the town. All the women chuckled as Adrienne Bailon said "Yess! She was giving me life you guys. I swear they're related!" Tamar then smacked her lips before saying "did y'all see that dog of a husband of hers? standing there looking lost?" I couldn't help but chuckle knowing the fact that Mo and Tamar we're very close I wasn't surprised at her remarks.

Tamera Mowry said "You got that right! He surely was looking lost but you guys, you could just see the hurt in Mohini eyes." hearing my office phone ring I turned the volume down before answering "Desmond Cook speaking." I heard soft breathing before "Desmond are we still on for tonight?" Hearing Jessica beautiful voice flow thru the receiver made me smile. I said while sitting down on my desk "Of course we are." hearing her chuckle before saying "It's nice to hear your voice instead of your assistants." I let out a light chuckle before saying "Is that right beautiful?" after a good conversation with Jessica I exited my office saying "Kingston I'll see you over at the hospital." Walking out of my private office building where I performed​ all of my check ups. I headed towards my white Audi heading to the hospital.

Mohini Passion- Cook

I sat in my home office editing my lastest movie script Rise of a Star staring Skai Jackson. I'd flown to my vacation home in Thailand after leaving the Aces Awards. I'd knew that going to the awards with my husband would cause many problems for me and I was right. Not only did I get bombarded with questions I had to walk the red carpet with my husbands side chick ten steps in front of me. My assistant Judi quickly entered​ the ocean view office saying "Mohini! You're public speech coach is here for the 3:30 meeting." I looked down at my watch I truly couldn't believe how fast my day was going.

I quickly nodded okay while fixing my desk to be more presentable saying "okay, send Ricky in. Oh and take this coffee mug for me!" I personally didn't want a public speech coach but my management team had advised me to get one after the big fight with Jessica and Desmond took place at my West Bloomfield home. They'd felt like it would be best for me to know what to say and not to say to the media.

Ricky entered the office she was a tall, slender built African woman her deep dark chocolate skin was one to envy. Ricky shook my hand before sitting down crossing her legs and letting out a sigh she said "What a beautiful view." I smiled brightly while saying "that view was my main reason for picking this location." Ricky smiled while placing her Chanel bag on the chair next to hers, she said "what a wonderful choice! Now I just wanna say I'm so proud of how you carried yourself​ for the Aces Awards." I couldn't help but smile being that I so nervous about what Ricky would say about my statements and actions.
